The aroma and taste are mild, with a youthful flavor that is typical of new sake. There is very little acidity or bitterness, and it is full of a luxurious umami taste ✨.
I bought another one this year. Two bottles just in case😅.
It's sweet but also has a nice bitterness, just delicious!
I think I'll drink the other bottle a little closer to winter lol.
The sake was brewed with Yamada Nishiki grown in local terraced rice paddies.
It is not very fruity like Shichida, but it was a well-balanced and delicious sake.
At my favorite liquor store, I was tempted to try my favorite hiya-otoshi from Yuki no Kayasha, but then I decided to try something different, so here it is.
I like the label.
It has a beautiful acidity and a mellow richness that is typical of hiyaoroshi ✨.
On the way back from climbing Mt. Yatsugatake, I found it in a souvenir shop at Chino station and bought it.
I was glad to hear that I had not had Masumi Hiyadoroshi this season!
The acidity characteristic of Masumi is not so apparent, but the richness or umami flavor was perfect for an autumn evening.
I drank it for the first time. It's called "lemon squash for adults," so I started drinking it during the day.
It has a sourness that is typical of Senkou. The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink.
It would be more like lemon squash if it had a little more sweetness (lol).
Thank you Jay & Nobby for your comments!
It's a little early for summer, but I got it lol.
It was perfect for a lunchtime drink and I almost emptied it all by myself, lol.
As expected, it is a very good food sake.
It has a well-balanced flavor and is cut by a sharp acidity, so no matter how much you drink, you will not get tired of drinking it.
It's somehow been quite a while 💦.
I'll comment once I've had it.
Not much aroma, somewhat unique sourness, but the taste is soft. Maybe it is because it is a medium-brewed sake.
