Bon vacation starts today! So the first one is in Daishinshu! It is dry, but has a strong core of rice flavor, and is delicious. Since it is a day for binge drinking and eating, I chose a bottle that would be easy to match with meals, and it was a good choice!

Fruity and easy to drink. The aftertaste is quite refreshing and may be surprisingly dry. Kaze no Mori has a low-alcohol image, but this one has a higher alcohol content of 16 degrees. However, as mentioned above, it is quite easy to drink, so the gap between the two is also surprising.

Lately, I have been having a good connection with Kawanakajima Genmai. This time it was Yamae-Nishiki. It was a bottle, but there was only one bottle left, so I bought it. The aroma and taste are quite unique and full-bodied. It has a nutty flavor, but at the same time, it has a lactic acid bacteria-like atmosphere. The richness that is typical of Genmai is still present, and it is very drinkable.

I have never heard or seen this brand before, but it is extremely tasty! It has a sweet and sour taste with lots of gas, and is really modern. The bitter aftertaste also enhances the refreshing feeling, making it perfect for summer.

Akabu has a strong image of being floral, but this Mountain is characterized by its sweet and sour taste. The strong acidity in the aftertaste seems to cool off the sweltering heat of midsummer. It also has a slightly lactic acid bacteria taste, making it perfect for drinking on its own!

I've had a lot of Kawanakajima Genmai, but actually it's my first time to try Kawanakajima. Surprisingly, there are many people like that. ......? So let's go to Kawanakajima! Oh, this one is dry with a lot of gusto. It has none of the glamour of Genmai, and has the atmosphere of a traditional sake. However, it has a soft umami flavor and a clean aftertaste, so you will not get tired of drinking it. It is also full-bodied, so it is sure to be a good match for dishes with a bit of a peculiar flavor.

New comer from Koei Chrysanthemum! The aroma is ink, lactic acid bacteria feeling. When you take a sip, it is ...... sweet! The rich, mellow, honey-like sweetness and acidity fill the mouth even after just a few sips, and with plenty of aftertaste, it is just like a dessert. The label doesn't say, but this is a kijoshu, isn't it? I realized after drinking it.

My mother suffered a separated leg in a volleyball game, so I temporarily returned home to check on her, even though it was less than a two-hour train ride each way. Fortunately, the injury seems to be minor. However, as one would expect from the source of our genes. On the way to my parents' house, I met Tazake-san and enjoyed it with my mother and father. The taste was mellow and full of flavor. Personally, I like this kind of core thickness very much, as is typical of Tazake. Since I usually drink it by myself, it runs out quickly when the three of us drink it together. However, I am glad that my parents enjoyed it so much.

This is a refreshingly dry bottle. However, it also has a firm umami flavor at the bottom of its flavor profile, and is well balanced between coolness and fullness. Many summer sakes are too light in flavor in pursuit of a refreshing taste, but Haneya has achieved a good balance in this area.

This is my favorite Sairai summer sake! There are a lot of sake that I follow, but I think this Sairai is the only one that I drink almost all seasonal sake. It is consistently sweet and juicy! The acidity and bitterness in the aftertaste give it the crispness that is typical of summer sake.

I'm into Daishinshu these days, its super dry! There are some sake that are called "dry" but are rather modern, but this one is truly super dry. It has a punchy umami flavor, and then it quickly cuts out, leaving you with an unintentional "ku" (gasp)! You can't help but feel "KUUU! Even so, it still has the cleanliness that is typical of Nagano. In fact, this cleanliness gives birth to a wonderful sharpness.

There are many sake that are said to taste like apple, but this is truly apple juice. It has the fruitiness, acidity, sweetness, and slightly acidic taste of apples. To be honest, if someone were to serve this to you, you would probably mistake it for a fresh-squeezed apple sour. The fact that it can be stored at room temperature is even more surprising.

I'm really into Daishinshu today. There are many delicious sake from Nagano, but I think I actually like Daishinshu the best. So I opened a bottle of Daishinshu's Inamitsu. I don't often look at the room temperature section, but for some reason, my eyes fell on it. The overall impression is of a thick core, with a smooth, lean body. But it also has a minerality, which is typical of Daishinshu. It has a strong flavor, but it is not too heavy, which is one of the characteristics of Taishinshu. It is a brand that makes you want to follow it more deeply.

I was wondering if I would have any luck this season since there were many reports of getting them at Sake-no-wa, but I was able to pick them up without incident! It seems that the time of arrival differs considerably depending on the store. I can't say enough about it! It's refreshing and just the perfect sparkling for summer. The only thing is that the stopper is like a crown type, so it is hard to store! LOL! I am wondering whether I should drink it all up in a day or leave it a little to enjoy the taste as the gaseous sensation settles down. ...... Postscript It hasn't even been an hour since I opened the bottle and the bottle is empty: ....... Awesome and scary. It's even scarier that I'm still only slightly tipsy from this.
