Today was the day of the Senkaku Stag Beetle ban 😊. I thought I was leaving Tochigi today. This morning around 9am, the liquor store I usually go to posted an article about the new arrivals and I noticed it around 3pm and the article said it was sold out 😭. I checked with another liquor store and they said they had 2 bottles left, so I dashed to the store, but they said they were sold out by the narrowest of margins😭. I'm totally in the mood for sparkling, so I'm opening a bottle of Yamato of Youth that I've had laying around at home 🎉. I drank Yamato Shizuku at an izakaya before. I remember it being very good, so I bought it thinking it would be absolutely delicious, As expected, it is delicious ❗️ From the fruity and milky aroma to the mouthfeel, it has a nice mouthfeel, but it's still very strong. The bitterness is working in a good way, and if you guzzled it down, it would definitely knock you out. But you can't stop 😅. It's a dangerous sake, but one I want to repeat again next year. And I learned today that it is important to move in a timely manner since stag beetles arrive in the store on the day the ban is lifted...

Sentori Kabutomushi is now open 🎉! Every time I saw a review of Kabutomushi on Sake no Wasa, I suppressed the urge to open it and made up my mind to open it at the peak of the heat 😁. I was imagining a squashy feeling since many reviews called it an adult lemon squash, but it didn't have a squashy feeling. It was more like an adult lemonade that felt right. It's sweet and sour. ❤️

I found Jikin-sama at my usual store! And it's Junmai Ginjo ✨! I was very excited and ordered it 😁. The special junmai we had before was 80% Gohyakumangoku and 20% Yamadanishiki, but compared to that, the taste was silky and watery. It's a dangerous sake that you can gobble up 😅. My personal preference is for the Tokujun, but this is also a delicious sake: ❤️ Above all, I am glad that I was able to drink two types of hard-to-find sake in a short period of time: ☺️

Hatsuya Mamoru ❤️ What a surprise, it's a sake made in Tokyo 😊. I had a preconceived notion that it was a Tokyo sake, but I bought it to fill out the map of Sake no Wa 😁✨. First of all, the blue bottle is lovely, typical of summer sake! Surprisingly refreshingly sweet and fruity aroma and taste like melon. But it's not sweet and thick, but smooth. Gassy feeling too. It's 16% alcohol, but it's so easy to drink that you won't feel it. ❤️ Well, you can't not like it without trying it. I can't believe they make such a delicious sake in Tokyo, even if it is in Higashimurayama (pardon the pun). I quite like the taste 😊.

This is my second Kutouryu Daiginjo Nigori. I drank it last time and enjoyed it so much I ordered it again😊. It's a daiginjo, but you don't even feel the alcoholiness typical of daiginjos, it's just easy to drink, refreshing and delicious ❤️

I enjoyed the last pink light cloudy Yamazan so much that I drove away the moment I saw this one here on instagram😅. When I opened the bottle, I felt a light sippiness. The first sip has a light gassy feeling and clear sweetness. Not much aroma. I prefer the pink one, but this one is delicious here: ❤️ As you drink it slowly, the gassy feeling disappears. It is sweet and bitter.

Opening a bottle of Shinmasa Yonotori, one of the 50th check-in commemorative bottles 🎉. It's our first Kijo sake ❤️ While getting a lot of previous information at Sake no Wa Sip. Oh, refreshing sweetness😊. Delicious ❤️ I think this might be my favorite of all the Shinsei I've had so far.

Today is Father's Day😊. So we opened a bottle of our very special Jikin 🎉! It's our first Jikin 😍. When I opened the bottle and smelled the aroma Slightly fruity. The first sip is as beautiful as the rumors ✨. It also has a slight gaseous taste. Wow, it's so beautiful I'm speechless. I got this one in a raffle for 3,000 yen per saké purchase. This is worth it. I'm sure I'll be signing up for the lottery if it comes up again.

First Dobrocock 🎉! It was hot today, so this is the most appropriate one for such a day: ❤️ As expected, delicious ❗️ It has a unique nigori gasiness and a nice sweet bitterness. My husband and I finished it in no time 💦. This one is a must repeat next year 😁.

First day: ❤️ I drank Sawaya Matsumoto before and liked it very much, and I was also interested in this sake made by the same master brewer. I have not had Aizan since the Kudokibe I had the other day. Compared to Kudokidote, Aizan is more refreshing and elegant. The alcohol content is also low at 11 degrees, so the feeling of drinking it is light. It is light to drink. However, it is not because it is light that it is not enough, but it is a feeling that it soaks into the body smoothly. I remember drinking Sawaya Matsumoto before, which was not Aizan, so this may not be the place to compare, but I think Sawaya Matsumoto had a clearer flavor profile. I'd like to try the Yamadanishiki one if I get the chance: ❤️

The second yakitori restaurant. First Izumo Fuji, first Sako Nishiki. I had never had much sake from the Chugoku region, so I took the plunge and ordered some 😊. It doesn't have much sweetness and is also dry enough to live up to its super dry title. It's perfect as a food sake. By the way, I wonder why the photos aren't uploading 💦.

We went to a neighborhood yakitori restaurant. There was a good selection of sake there, so after much deliberation, I chose this one with a lighter sake content (➕2): ❤️ It was light and went in easily, just like in summer. It also has a slight sourness. It is easy to drink. I was drinking it while wondering if the lightness of the mouthfeel and watery taste was due to the fact that the bottle had been open for a while, or if it was because it originally tasted like this 😁.

I bought this sake recommended by the owner of a liquor store: ❤️ I opened the bottle with a feeling of half anticipation and half anxiety 🎉. The aroma is exactly like green apple😍. In the mouth, it tastes sweet and acidic with a slight gasiness and a green apple aftertaste ❤️ I quite like the taste of this one 😊. This one has 16% alcohol by volume, but the refreshing taste makes me want to gobble it up 💦. This is, to put it mildly, a must repeat 😁.

The twilight orange was so good it was gone in no time 😭 Open this one: ❤️ Aizan by Kudo Jr. Aizan, my first time ❤️ The aroma and the feeling of drinking it is similar to Miyakanbai's Mr. Summertime that I drank the other day, but it seemed more refreshing and the bitterness in the aftertaste was more effective than that. I wish I had the vocabulary to describe the aroma😭 Maybe that's a strange way to describe it, but I'd say it's a Junmai Daiginjo with a fine casual quality 🧐. postscript The second day, the aroma remained the same and the bitterness in the aftertaste was nice and angular, making it easier to drink 😊.

After 2 days off drinking, here's Koei Kiku Dusk Orange for you: ❤️ Tastes as citrusy as it sounds✨. Whereas the last one was thick and chibi chibi, this one has the power to be drunk as much as you want 😊. whereas this one is so thick and chibi that you could drink it as much as you want 😊. However, you can still feel the alcohol for its 13% alcohol content, so be careful not to drink too much ⚠️ 😁.

First Miyagi sake at SAKEWA. First Miyagi-Kanbai ❤️ When I saw the title, I thought it might be an after-dinner brandy type of sake, and that's exactly what it is. The alcohol content is 15 degrees, which is the same as the common ones, but the sweetness and the heaviness of the sake made it seem like an after-dinner drink 😊.
