This is the second gift from my trip to Tochigi.
I opened a bottle of Hououmida, which I bought at the same time as Nanamizu.
I like the kanji character for "Houou Mita," and this hiyaoroshi also won me over.
It has a sweet aroma, but when you drink it, it is refreshing and extremely tasty.
I paired it with burikama and salmon, but it was too good.
It was beyond my expectations.
It is an early hiyaoroshi, so it may be a little young, but it went well with the dishes and was the best drink of the weekend.
Maybe the sake from Tochigi goes well with it.
I looked at the Tochigi sake ranking and confirmed that all the sake from the top are good.
Good evening, Takepon-san 😃.
You got another good souvenir 🤗Hiyahoroshi by Mita! It's a bottle you want to drink leisurely. ‼️ What's the next Tochigi sake? I'm looking forward to it 👋
Good morning, Jay & Nobby!
Thank you very much for your comment.
We will take a look at Jay & Nobby's post as well and enjoy thinking about the next one!
I went to the Otani Museum in Tochigi on vacation.
Near the museum, there is a store called Kikuchi Sake Shop, where I bought this sake.
I bought this sake at a shop near there called Kikuchi Sake Brewery. It is unique to the area. I had to buy it.
There were two kinds of sake: hi-ire and nama-shu, but I bought the nama-shu, which I love without hesitation.
I could feel the fresh sweetness of Nama-zake very much. I paired it with Japanese dishes such as sashimi and grilled fish.
Although the lingering summer heat is still intense, please visit the Otani Museum to feel the history and cool off, and then go to a nearby store to buy some sake and reaffirm the delicious taste of Japanese sake!
Good evening, Takepon 😃.
Welcome to Tochigi 🤗On a hot day 🥵 the natural cooler at the Otani Museum is great! It's so cold 😅.
Kikuchi sake store is less than 10 minutes drive from my house, so I go there sometimes 🤗Nanamizu-san! Nice choice👍
Good evening, Jay & Nobby. Thank you for your comment. I am very happy to hear your comment.
Actually, I didn't notice the botti at first, and after I bought Houou Mida and left the store, I noticed the sign at the entrance and went back into the store.
I wanted to drink Kaze no Mori after a long time.
It is a stable taste.
You can match it with dishes or enjoy the aroma of the sake.
I had it with yellowtail sashimi.
I purchased this sake for everyday drinking at room temperature.
It has no peculiarities in a good sense and can be drunk easily and refreshingly.
It goes well with fish.
I would like to enjoy it slowly so as not to drink too much.
This sake is famous for its label featuring the back number of Hisashi Mitsui from "Slam Dunk.
It is a dry junmai ginjo. I drank it with my friend who came back from France on vacation while eating sashimi and sushi.
Suginami Ward is offering a special campaign until tomorrow.
We have taken advantage of it.
To be honest, I chose this sake to paint the map. Today it was Temakizushi.
It is a good sake to go with seafood.
It is refreshing and easy to drink.
I paired it with gizzards and thick fried tofu.
I wanted to drink Fukuoka Prefecture's sake, so I chose garden urchins, often found in izakaya (Japanese style pubs).
It is a summer-only special junmai sake that is light, crisp, and soothing in the summer heat.
As the description says, it is refreshing and does not disturb the food.
A bottle was quickly consumed.
It is very good as a food wine at this time of the year when it is getting hot and humid, and when one's appetite is slightly down.
I was aiming for an opportunity and found it today.
It is like a juice.
You can drink it easily.
It was hot today, but I paired it with hot pot. It was hot today, but I paired it with a pot of hot pot.
I wonder what it goes with. I think it would be good to drink it without snacks, but I would like to find out what I can enjoy drinking it with.
Good morning, Takepon 😃
Sentori from Ona! It's a good Tochigi sake relay 🤗It's true that it can be served alone or with fried food or western style food 🥘😋.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby.
Thank you for your comment 😊.
I am honestly glad to hear it.
Sentori has always been on my mind since I came across it. It's delicious.
But I have a hard time finding it in liquor stores.
It is the season for new buds to emerge and new life to sprout. Junmai Ginjyo is made in late January, and after about 1 cm of orikura is mixed with the sake, the bottle is immediately fired and allowed to mature for about one month before shipping. It has an impressive cherry-red label, a fresh aroma, and the soft, mellow acidity that is typical of orikarami flows beautifully.
