The sanma label is too cute 🐟.
It's a complete packet, but it was delicious!
I've never been to Iwate Prefecture, but now I've conquered it! (I'm sure I've had a few drinks, I'm just too drunk to remember, but...)
Since my trip to Yamaguchi in 2023/02, I have been looking for this golden sparrow, and finally found it again!
I looked twice when I found it on the blackboard of the restaurant.
I was impressed by the balance of the sake when I had a glass of Kinjaku, which was recommended to me by a tavern owner in Yuda Onsen, who told me that it was rare to find such a rare sake in stock and was one of his favorites.
However, as I was told, it was a rare sake, and I could not find it at any liquor stores in Yuda Onsen or at any local liquor stores.
I had almost forgotten about it when I came across it at a local izakaya,
I was afraid that I would be disappointed if I drank it because it had too much of a premium, but it was as good as I expected!
It is not a very distinctive sake, but rather, it is amazing in its lack of characteristics that makes you think it is a common sake everywhere.
The balance of the fruity taste with a clean aftertaste is the best of any sake I have ever tasted, and it is so well balanced that anyone can enjoy it!
For sake beginners, I highly recommend drinking Kinjaku instead of Kaze no Mori or Shinmasa, which are currently popular.
I've been seeing a lot of labels lately: 🏷️
Colorful Kabuto-bushi is cute 🪲.
Everyone at the table around me was asking for it because it was summery and easy to drink.
The first sip was sweet and easy to drink, but after the second sip, the sweetness became a bit too much for me.
It had been a while since I drank sake after a year of sobriety, so maybe my tongue just wasn't used to it?
The color is dark!
The color and aroma are so intense and the rice has a mellow aroma that I wonder if the taste is too harsh. I thought so,
But when I drank it, I found that while the flavor was strong, the aftertaste was very light!
I paired it with crab miso. It softened the richness and smell of each other and was a perfect match!
It went down very well!
I bought this on a trip to Kochi 🍶.
It has a strong umami taste and spreads in the mouth!
The taste on the tongue is strong, but on the other hand, it goes down the throat very lightly and without any dullness!
It feels concentrated, so it would be delicious sparkling with carbonation!
Firm and robust taste.
Sourness on the palate
There is also umami of rice! I drank an old sake the other day, and it has the same kind of umami as Shaoxing sake...
It is not easy to drink at all, but it is delicious!
It is not easy to drink at all, but this is delicious!
It is sweet but easy to drink!
In contrast to the South, which I drank earlier, the taste is mild, but it doesn't leave an aftertaste, so it goes surprisingly well with food.
First time I heard of this brand! @Kochi
The only Kochi sake I knew was Bikuyo and Drunken Whale.
Dry and dry, you can feel the alcohol feeling in the throat.
In beer terms, it's like Super Dry.
Sweet but refreshing
It tastes like an introductory sake on the main road!
When I ordered "Ki no Ene Masamune", I was told "Koushi" cheerfully! I'm a little dissatisfied.
Momoten found on a trip to Yamaguchi! 🍑
It's so easy to drink and fruity that it's not even sake!
The aroma is fresh and fruity!
The little bits make it even easier to drink!
Be careful when opening it, it flew out like champagne if you're not careful!
