Kamonishiki" is a popular brand in Niigata. It seems to be famous for its sake! I happened to find it on sale at a local supermarket, so I bought it! It looks quite unique with its silver bag and tags. It might be good as a food sake!
The standard of Hiroshima sake. It has a little bit of luxury with gold leaf. I heard President Obama drank it too; I wonder if it was served at the G7? It had a sharp taste and went well with food!
I bought a sparkling because I was about to have a lot of wine entrées. They said it was the highest gold medal winning sake of the 2018 Delicious Sake in a Glass of Wine Awards. It was paired with cheese and it was good!
I entered the restaurant because "Jyushiyo" was on the sake lineup. I couldn't afford the 2,200 yen per glass price, so I ordered a bottle of "Ni-Utsugi" (two hares).
It was easy to drink! Maybe I should buy some for home next time.
