I wondered if he'd taken it. I guess I've had it before. I bought it at Ricaman on my way home from work. The aroma of ginjo is gorgeous! Sweet and mild at the entrance, but the bitterness and sharpness after the mid-palate and sharpness in the mid-palate.

Found at a roadside station. I bought three bottles, this is the first one. It is a sweet daiginjo. It spreads on the palate, but the aftertaste is not bitter. I think I found a delicious sake!

The second bottle at my parents' house was a sparkling bottle of Popular Ichi, also purchased in Aizu. It was my first time to drink Popular 1, but the sourness and sweetness is surprisingly easy to drink❣️ or maybe it's because it's only 7 degrees 😅. It's perfect for when you want to take it easy.

I am sorry to go on and on about the old days, but I used to be stationed in Hong Kong. Among the many Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong at that time, the "Doraku Chaya" was by far the best, and I loved their original "barrel sake". The sake was imported from Kyoto and served in cedar casks, which smelled so good that I could drink as much as I wanted. This Popular Ichi was given to me by my sister-in-law, and it has an aroma that suggests it must have been brewed in continuous contact with the wood. The taste is rounded and unrefined, but it seems honest and I like it. I enjoyed the aroma of the wood as I wondered how the stubborn owner of the Doraku teahouse was doing, and wished I had asked him to sell me that barrel of sake.
