Yodobashi's sake fridge is always stocked with fire-roasted sake, but sometimes they have a few bottles of unpasteurized sake. If you don't look carefully, you won't notice it. It's rather fruity. Type: Junmai ginjo, style: taruzake, rice: Ten no Tsubu/Yume no Kaori, polishing rate: 60%, alc.: 15% This drink smells and tastes exactly like Christmas. Aroma of apples, pears and Christmas tree. Flavor is full of wood. I did not expect this much wood in ginjo style sake. Still very clean and refreshing with nice acidity. Feels rather dry. Good drink for Christmas time. Happy Christmas to all of you!
