There was one more restaurant I wanted to visit in Asahikawa, and I went to Ogawa Shoten, which interacts with local izakaya in Obihiro. Here, they recommended Huataka from Oita Prefecture. I told them what I liked and decided on this one. It is refreshing but has a strong alcohol taste rather than a spicy taste. 16 degrees Celsius is a bit heavy, but it becomes softer when it is cooled down to a crisp, so it is quite tasty. I found myself drinking a lot of it because I wanted to unravel its complex flavors. The taste reminds me of sake from Kyoto or Gifu. I'm looking forward to another sake meeting at Tokachikan this fall.

Another bottle I bought at Hasegawa-san in Tokyo station. The first time for Otokoyama-san in Yamagata This is also the original label of Hasegawa-san. The rice used is Miyamanishiki, so it's the same as "Junmai-shu Gold Label". Anyway, it was a delicious sake with a lot of fullness. Maruishi Brewing's Chohyo year-end festival, second bottle. This sake is made from Manzai, an edible rice that has been revived in Okazaki. It is a junmai daiginjo, and naturally it has a beautiful, fruity taste, but compared to Nitoshi, it has more robust rice flavor than acidity and sweetness...I think. Am I biased? Rooster Yoemon from Kawamura Sake Brewery in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This sake is famous for its sour taste, which is rare in Iwate Prefecture. I drank it for the first time at a store in Hanamaki and was surprised by the sourness. It seemed to be quite a challenge since Iwate is generally known for its sweet and tasty sake. Even so, I heard that the owner stubbornly continued to make sour sake. (^○^) Nowadays, with the Shinsai boom, Yoemon's sour sake is also selling well, especially outside of the prefecture. The rice used is Yamadanishiki and Shunyo. This is Izumo no Kuni's newest brewery, created (reborn) last year. Naturally, it was the first time for us to visit. The image of sake in this area is that of powerful sake-like sake, all of which are unique. This sake is unique in the sense that it is, but the image has been overturned. It is very fruity and lightly sweet and sour, with a pleasant citrus bitterness spreading from the sweetness and acidity. The mouthfeel is clear and crisp. Overall 9 (out of 10) I had my first Shimane sake 🍶😃. I got it from Pekho-san. According to the description of the sake shop It's a "fruity and full of flavor" sake! Delicious 😋. I went to Tabe Takeshita Sake Brewery and Sake Brewery Museum 😆. But all the sake was sold out there 😭 So I went to a liquor store that sells this sake and bought Rihachi👍. I wanted to drink it and I couldn't bear to end up not being able to buy it 😣. But I'm glad I was able to buy it safely 😌. I've had this drink before and I know it's good, so I feel safe drinking it 😌. I wasn't sure whether to buy Rihachi's white label or black label, but this time I went with this one ✨. This is the first bottle of Akita Shun Ginjo. I've never met this brewery before, but it's a good omen❗.
