There was one more restaurant I wanted to visit in Asahikawa, and I went to Ogawa Shoten, which interacts with local izakaya in Obihiro.
Here, they recommended Huataka from Oita Prefecture. I told them what I liked and decided on this one. It is refreshing but has a strong alcohol taste rather than a spicy taste. 16 degrees Celsius is a bit heavy, but it becomes softer when it is cooled down to a crisp, so it is quite tasty. I found myself drinking a lot of it because I wanted to unravel its complex flavors. The taste reminds me of sake from Kyoto or Gifu.
I'm looking forward to another sake meeting at Tokachikan this fall.
I've heard of flower pigeons, but never a hawk 🦅.
As the name suggests, it's gorgeous, but it has a smooth aftertaste that makes it easy to drink.
Maybe it was good that I could drink it raw.
Fruity and floral as the name suggests.
It is not too sweet and easy to drink.
Takaraiya has a lot of sober sakes, so when introducing them to newcomers, this area seems to be better received.
This is a bottle I bought on a trip to Kyushu along with a bottle of sansho. Buying a bottle of sake on a trip is fun because it seems to test the overall strength of my sake experience. This time it seemed to be a winner. And I have a feeling that I hit the jackpot. I'll check again tomorrow.
On the second day, I was ready to drink, and the first drink was super delicious. This is a good sake I have encountered. I had too high expectations for San-do, so I drank it in a critic-like manner, thinking, "Well, well, well. Hana Taka is a sake that lives up to its name.
I received a souvenir from Oita😊.
It was recommended by a local liquor store...
Weak but gentle and gorgeous aroma, slight muscat flavor, sweeter with little acidity or bitterness, elegant sweetness, clear and soft on the palate, goes in easy like soft water, alu feeling after swallowing 😳
Freshly picked bamboo shoots with sansho (Japanese pepper) and rape blossoms
I enjoyed it very much 🥰.

Good evening, Kotori 😃.
Kyushu sake 🍶 continues 🤗cool label against the purple background👍looks like it's a heavy type, but it goes in easily...and comes later 😊.
Looks like it would go great with wild vegetables 🥰.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 😃Thank you as always. It's a pattern that makes me feel so good that I fall asleep 🤤 because I can drink it so smoothly without any peculiarities.
