We opened the bottle of Soutenden Special Junmai that we received.
The last time we had Soutenden, it was thin and lackluster.
but this one has a robust flavor and is more
It is more dry and has a delicious flavor.
It was delicious.
The second sake tasting at Minamisanriku Hotel Kanyo.
It tasted different from the first Urakasumi.
It seems to have some acidity.
It is 16% alcohol and dry in my opinion!
Sake 🍶 given as a gift in return from a staff member of the company.
Let's start with the first sip. The aroma of koji (malted rice), which is typical of sake, is more prominent than expected. The mouthfeel is crisp, acidic, and clear. The aftertaste is refreshing.
Serve with stewed potatoes. The slightly sweet potatoes and the acidity of this sake are well balanced and turn into a gentle flavor. A good match 😊As a food sake👍

The white label with silver letters is cool ✨.
It's Soutenden's first sake that claims to be dry, so it's spicy right from the start 😚.
After swallowing, you can gradually feel the sweetness and fullness of the rice. ☺️
It goes well with seafood such as sashimi as well as dishes from the Tohoku region such as chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and simmered dishes with a strong sweetness.
