My father bought it for me as a souvenir from his trip to Aomori. The nose has a faintly acidic aroma. In the mouth, there was a delicate acidity from the sake yeast and a calm, gentle sweetness and richness. It was a crisp sake, typical of Sakuta's special pure sake. It was delicious, but it was not so good when it was warmed up 🤔.

It is a local sake, but I first heard about it through "Sake-no-wa" and bought it at a sake store in the northern part of the prefecture. My daughter bought it at Fujiwaraya in Sendai Station a couple of times before she got married. Iwate is often named after the pure-heartedness of the Tohoku region or after Kenji Miyazawa, and the rice is Gintome, which is a Gin user. It has a mild mouthfeel and a pleasant soft, full-bodied sweetness. I also like the way it disappears quickly, leaving a lingering aftertaste. When I drank Akita Sake Komachi, I naturally thought of Yuki-Onna (snow woman). The image of a pure white, cold, clear, dignified, and beautiful woman came to mind.
