Our annual sake party 😁 today with three of us 🌸. My friend brought me this sake from Naito Brewery in Sobue, Aichi👍. It's very light and easy to drink. It has a dry throat, but not too much acidity, and you can taste the flavor😋. It's a great sake to drink with two great drinkers and it's easy to drink like water😝.

Today is Valentine's Day!👩‍❤️‍👨 This Sake paired very well with the filet mignon I prepared for my wife. There is a full mouth feel with umami. There is a light smoke flavor and wood. The aftertaste is short.

It comes with a gusto at first, and both the umami and sourness come into play. Certainly good to drink while washing off the fat from the meat 😀.

Souvenirs of Saga 🤗Chapter 1 The top aroma is like red miso or buckwheat flower honey, the type I haven't tasted lately. 〰︎ As the temperature loosens up, it has a fruity bitter chocolate flavor with a strong acidity 😚 I thought I remembered smelling that aroma of BASE BREAD chocolate somewhere 😚 It seems to be a slightly classical rich dry type, but it had an interesting flavor........ I almost ate too much of it because the oily fried squid geso tasted strangely delicious 😅. Thanks for the food!

Saga, Saga Prefecture, Japan. Saga Brewery Co. Umenomado Special Junmai 3㌥ I tasted and bought this at the Sake Expo held at the Kintetsu Main Store in Abeno Harukas. I actually had it yesterday, but since it is a special junmai, I compared the two. We will drink it cold. The color is clear and almost colorless. The top aroma is mild and not very noticeable. The taste has a robust rice flavor, sweetness, and a nutty, chocolate-like complexity. It is rich and mellow, but compared to Saka, it has a more traditional country-style flavor. The aroma on the nose is bitter and chocolatey. By the second day, the chocolaty flavor has settled down, and a clear, mineral, full flavor emerges, making it easier to drink. Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic) Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 15 to 16 degrees Celsius

Saga, Saga Prefecture, Japan. Saga Brewery Co. Saka Tokubetsu Junmai Nama Nama Zake. Purchased after tasting at the Sake Expo held at the Kintetsu Main Store in Abeno Harukas. Saka is a new brand, and is apparently better known as "Ume" (window plum). It is served cold. The color is clear with a slight yellowish tinge. The top aroma is mild, with a slight hint of alcohol. The mouthfeel is smooth with a slight flocculation, and it does not feel fresh to the extent that it should. On the palate, there is a little bit of juicy acidity, a little bit of tangy alcohol, and a nutty, full flavor that spreads. The aftertaste is a bit of a sharp spiciness, with a slight throat hit after swallowing. I bought it thinking it would be sweeter and more umami, but it was surprisingly dryer than I expected. Purchased at the sake department of Ropia in Hirosaki. Surprisingly, there are no liquor stores or supermarkets around Hirosaki Station, which is a problem if you want to buy local sake as a souvenir. The aroma is wonderful. The taste is light, with a soft, unrefined sweetness, a bit of bitterness, and a touch of sourness. It is not too strong in character, so it can be drunk as a mid-meal sake and will not interfere with a meal. It is a good match with light snacks such as yakko, since it was completely defeated when drunk with Akita's Iburi Gakko.

It's Adohadari in Kamekichi 🐢. Please ask chika what "Ado Hadari" means 😊 lol The top aroma is slightly fruity. In the mouth it has a rich, juicy sweetness and a full-bodied flavor for an Aomori sake. A must have for those who love Nama sake 😋. I've only had Kamekichi's sharp junmai sake, so I was disappointed in a good way. It was delicious 🐢✨️
