Tonight, our first series, Kikuyu by Yoshikawa Brewery from Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is 100% Dewa Sanzu, Junmai Nama-no-Hajime made with Kyoukai No. 6 yeast. It has a ginjo aroma between cucumber and pear, and the first sip is clear with a full sweetness, but later on, a strong bitterness and alcohol taste follows, making it dry and smooth.

Tonight, we decided to open a new sake once in a while, so we had this one from the Yoshikawa Sake Brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture. Junmai Nigori Sake - Luxurious Aragoshi ✨✨✨✨. The sake seems to have been bottled after the new sake unrefined sake has been roughly fermented 😄. The aroma has a hint of pear and apple. When you take a sip, you can feel the gasiness and acidity, but it is juicy and delicious 😋😋😋😋 When you mix the lees, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and the creaminess increases, which is also delicious 😋😋. This was definitely one to repeat 🤗

Yahiko Sake Brewery in Yahiko Village, Niigata Prefecture. The main brand was "Echino Hakusetsu," but it appears that "Yahiko" will be the main brand from now on. This Junmai Ginjo is also made from Yamadanishiki produced in Yahiko Village, and is a good sake, not fruity, but calm and soft. Yahiko Village is where my mother is from, and I spent a lot of time there as a child when I was sent to my mother's home, so it is like a second home to me. Yahiko Shrine, the first shrine in Echigo, is located there.

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

Happy New Year! After making Zoni, I finally had my first drink. I started the year with Kaneizumi, which I received from a friend the day before yesterday. The aroma is good, but the taste is sweet and fruity at first, followed by a refreshing acidity that lingers in the mouth, and finally the taste of rice lingers. The sweet and fruity taste fills the mouth at first. According to my friend, he has been drinking Kaneizumi since the old days when it was made by Horimoto Shuzo. and then it was taken over by Aihara Shuzo of Amego no Tsuki with the toji-san. After the brewery went out of business and was succeeded by Aihara Brewery It is said to be his favorite sake even after he took over the brewery with the master brewer. At the tasting, I tasted a ripe LaFrance.... I was attracted by the words "Ripe LaFrance" and tasted it... I was scared 😳. This is really LaFrance 🍐!
