Here is a bottle I received last Monday! It's a bottle of Junmai Dry Taste by Abekan, a favorite of J&N since my first purchase 🤗.
Yes, it's a very nice bottle! It's a nice, clean, umami, but also has a nice sharpness 😋 It's like a supporting cast dry sake, perfect for the bento that Nobby bought for me 👍Great meal 😁.
By the way, about this Monday
Around 6pm, Nobby sent me a video on line and I saw a video of a cicada larva climbing up a tree in our yard.
It had been in the soil for several years...it finally came out to the ground...and I couldn't help but feel that it was struggling to climb up the tree while wobbling a little bit! It made me feel like "Go for it!
A little later, I thought "Well, let's go home" and suddenly there was a heavy downpour ☔ I asked Nobby if he was okay with the cicadas he saw earlier ⁉️ and he said it was pouring down hard at his house too 😱.
When I arrived home, the rain had stopped and I looked at the garden but it was too dark to make out😰but if you look at the puddles, I'm afraid it won't work😮💨I offered a light drink that evening🍶😞.
The next morning we both searched the garden and found cicada shells on the opposite side of where they were yesterday‼️Good thing🥹 and went to work with peace of mind☺️

I drank it all up like I was sucking in a swimming goldfish 🌀 but don't worry, the empty bottle was filled with goldfish! There was still a goldfish left in the empty bottle 😉.
By the way, last weekend. We were supposed to go to Chiba to visit my father, but on Friday we received a letter about a recall on Jay's car 🚙 and the contents said "there is a defect in the program related to steering wheel operation and in the worst case scenario, the steering wheel may become inoperable" 😕...no, like at high speed. I was afraid of steering wheel when I was driving 😱 so I decided to leave my car at the dealership overnight since it was the time of inspection.
So we decided to leave the car at the dealership for a night because it was time to have it inspected. Well, we got a good deal on the car, so it's all good 👍 ma-ki-Good evening, Jay & Nobby.

Jay felt a slight sweetness when he took a sip, but Nobby said this one is really dry 😄.
I switched from Mutsu Hachisen, so there was a big swing from sweet to spicy 😅.
In any case, it's a good food sake with a clean and crisp mouthfeel and umami flavor 😋.
On this day, we had soba noodles, yakitori, mini sushi, and a wide variety of other dishes! I enjoyed eating and drinking Mutsu Hachisen with the yakitori and Abekan with the sushi and soba noodles 😄.
By the way, did anyone see "Let Snow Man do it" on TV📺 last night?
They were competing to see if they could kankopi the choreography of a dance in 3 minutes ⁉️. The adaptability of young people who dance regularly is really amazing ‼️ and we watched it for 2 hours, laughing and admiring the performance 😆.
I think it would take us 3 months to learn it 😅and maybe 3 days to forget it 🤣. ma-ki-Hi Jay & Nobby.

I'll take a sip and it's delicious 😋I had a preconceived notion that it was going to have a strong alu feeling, but it has a gentle mouthfeel that gradually spreads to a sour taste that finishes off ☺️ and there's a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste 😚.
This is a bottle that is perfect for nabe (hot pot), and you can enjoy it slowly without getting tired of drinking it, but if you drink it with Otani on YouTube as a snack, it will be gone soon😅.
As it says on the label, it was a "relaxing and comforting sake" ☺️

I immediately knew he was talking about sake 😆 He said he found Yuho at a liquor store he was interested in in Tochigi City, where he sometimes goes for errands: ‼️
I had heard from Mamio that the only stores in Tochigi that carry Yuho are Saito Sake Shop and Owada Sake Shop.
But he couldn't find a four-pack at Saito 😢Noby happened to go to a liquor store and bingo👍Mamio's invisible power may have moved Nobby 😁.
The flashy red label says it's a summer sake that goes perfectly with summer stamina food...hmmm? Summer sake⁉️ okay 😅
I'll have it cold first 🎵
It has an astringent taste, but the firm umami and acidity match, so it's not a refreshing summer sake at all 😚.
But it's good in winter too 😋.
Next, when served lukewarm, the acidity came out in full force, and I couldn't help but let out a gasp 🫢I wondered if this was more suited for cold sake. I was surprised to see the acidity of the sake was so strong and full of flavor.
I was surprised to find that the sourness of the dough was not as strong as it was in the lukewarm version, but it was better than the lukewarm version.
But I thought it was best served cold 😚. マミオJay & Nobby, good evening ⭐I'm not a fan of Youho's mountain grated type 😅I haven't had this red because the liquor store, knowing my taste, stopped me 😅But I guess it's just a matter of taste, it seems to go well with a gutsy meal!
