This is one of the bottles I purchased because I received an email from a liquor store that I buy online once or twice a year offering a "free shipping campaign". I'm glad for the free shipping: ☺️ Junmai-shu (Junmai-shu made from a traditional sake yeast yeast strain). You can enjoy the richness of the sake either cold or chilled, but it tastes best when heated. You can feel the strength of this sake. If you were to ask me, "What's a "nama yeast"? I wondered if I could answer easily. I wondered! Sake terminology is also difficult 😓.

The area around JR Saijo Station is home to many sake breweries, including Kamotsuru. The Saijo Sake Festival held every fall is well known. This time I had a small bottle. The taste was soft and gentle, with a hint of sweetness from the rice. It was a gentle sake with a soft taste and sweet rice flavor. It is said to be "Nada's men's sake" and "Hiroshima's women's sake," and it is just like that.

The other night, I had dinner with a junior member of my current team. He doesn't drink, but he has heard from his friends that sake lingers until the next day. I told him that it is not because of sake, but because of too much alcohol, whether it is beer or shochu. It's the same with beer and shochu! There is still a tendency to treat sake as a bad thing, isn't there? So, this time, I found a small bottle of Tokigen by chance and tasted it. It was light on the palate with a refreshing aftertaste. It was a good choice for those who say "I don't like sake...".

I am concerned about my health condition when I drink every day, but when I look back on the results of my health checkups, there are no problems with my liver function or blood pressure 😇 and my body age is 15 years younger than my actual age! They say "sake is the best of all medicines", but depending on how you drink it, it can greatly improve your health 😄. The sake that we opened at this point has a melon-like aroma, a sharp sharp taste, and a good flavor of rice! ^_^ The sake has a melon 🍈 aroma, sharp sharpness, and a good rice flavor.

It was originally released in 2012 to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the company's opening, but due to its popularity, the company decided to release it every year. This time, it is the first in a series of different rice varieties and is brewed with Koshinoshizuku. The specs are described as junmai even though it could be called jungin. It has a beautiful aroma, sweetness of rice, freshness and sharpness typical of nama-shu, and weight typical of nama-draft sake. It is highly drinkable and highly recommended at 2,860 yen (1.8L) including tax ^_^.

This bottle was brewed in Hiroshima Prefecture born in [the premonition of love]. It is a sake with a full flavor of rice. The freshness and sharpness are also perfect. However, when I first took a sip, it tasted like whiskey, so I had the impression that it might be a bit tough for those who like fruity and light drinks. I feel that it is best suited for Japanese cuisine with rich, rich side dishes such as Doteyaki or broiled eel. Last week, when I went to the Minase Shrine in Shimamoto Town, Osaka, to draw famous water, the weeping cherry trees were in full bloom. It is a soothing place♪

It was a beautiful sake with a lychee-like aroma and a sharp, dry taste, followed by a clean, rinsing taste in the mouth. I thought it would be perfect with Chinese food because of its dryness. I thought it would be perfect for Chinese food, so I tried it with sweet-and-sour pork. The dry sake turned out to have a mild flavor, and the sake was enjoyed with a glass of wine. Delicious! Yesterday, there was a report that the brewer of "Takeba", Kazuma Shuzo, has resumed sake brewing. I heard that the entire Noto Railway line is now open. We would like to continue to support the Noto region, which is gradually recovering.

This is the first time I have seen this brand distributed in the Kansai region. I happened to be searching for local sake stores on the Internet when I discovered that there was a specialty store in my neighborhood. I went to take a look at it right away, and that is how I came across it. When I opened the bottle, a sweet aroma spread all over the bottle. The mouthfeel is very soft and sharp. It is perfect as a food sake! It is perfect as a food wine! If you don't restrain yourself, you may end up drinking too much.

This is a beautiful sake brewed with 80% Gohyakumangoku and low refining. Care must be taken when opening the bottle due to the slightly effervescent nature of the oli, but the bottle was opened without incident. The aroma is a mix of banana and grapefruit. Freshness sharpness and sweet mouthfeel. It was delicious as a food wine ^_^. After 5 days of drinking, I tried drinking it warmed over human skin. It lost its fruity flavor and became ordinary. This sake is best enjoyed cold.

(Continued from last time) The last sake I bought on this visit to Ryuriki was Sesshikoyama. When opened, this excellent sake has a fruity aroma, mellowness, strength, and sweetness at the same time. It was a bottle that I wanted to adore forever in the aftertaste. It went well with any snacks such as pork gingerbread 🐷 crab🦀 cream croquettes and spicy cucumber🥒. ☺️

A delicious sake that can be served cold or warmed. It has a sharpness and at the same time a strong sweetness. When drunk alone, the sharpness of the sharpness and the sweetness that follows are even more pronounced. It is a good bottle for evening drinks and is mainly suited for Japanese food. On the way back from Ryuriki, I wanted to try Himeji Oden, so I got off at Himeji Station and found this bottle at Sanyo Department Store while strolling around the station area. *Himeji oden is a local dish eaten with ginger soy sauce. It was delicious 😀😋😙.

The Takatsuki Sake Juku project visited Honda Shoten in Aboshi. Inside the store, a specimen of Hyogo Nishiki, newly developed by Hyogo Prefecture in 2011, was on display, attracting the participants' interest. It is produced by crossbreeding Yamada-Nishiki with another sake rice, and the rice is said to be short and resistant to collapse. Although they were not able to tour the brewery for various reasons, they listened to the passionate talk of the fifth-generation brewer. All of Honda Shoten's sake rice is suitable for sake brewing. The brewery is particular about the terroir of its sake. This time, I got a bottle of Yamadaho special junmai. The quality of the sake was full and coherent with a refreshing acidity. The sweetness increased day by day, and it was so delicious that I wished I had bought another bottle or two.

This is a junmai sake from a brewery that specializes in yamahai. I have drunk several items of "Tsunekigen" in the past, but this is the first time I've brought it to Sake-no-wa. I met it at Takatsuki Hankyu Square and brought it home. It has a strong full-bodied flavor, a sharp acidity, and a freshness that is typical of nama-shu, making it a great match for any dish. It is also delicious on the rocks! It was my favorite type.

It is a light and dry sake like Niigata sake, but it is too clean and light and has a softness, but if I may say so, I don't like it. It is too clean and light and soft, but not to my taste. It's a special honjozo (55% rice polishing ratio) that doesn't interfere with food. But I couldn't feel any sake-like flavor...

The Noto earthquake devastated 11 breweries in the Noto area. However, Suzuki Shuzo Brewery sent a donation of 300 yen for every bottle of "Rebirth" sold, while Shinzawa Brewery and Kurumata Brewery took care of the surviving sake mash from Kazuma Brewery and squeezed it. They will send the money after the recovery. It is wonderful that they are working hard and helping each other when they are affected by the disaster. The "wa" in "sake no wa Let us also support the affected areas and people for a long time to come!

I have organized many drinking parties during my working years, and I believe that the most blissful time for me as a drinker is when I spend time with my school friends, fellow hobbyists, and others who share the same spirit. I don't need to wait for the words of the experts to tell me that relationships in the company are thin. They gradually fizzle out over time. That is why we should cherish the connections we have now! And with that in mind, I'll be sipping a glass of wine again tonight... Tonight's sake was a junmai sake from the Joyo Shuzo brewery. The balance of rice flavor and acidity seems to be good, and the sake was delicious warmed up.

This is a Junmai-shu purchased at the end of the year at the brewery. It is a junmai sake that I bought at the end of the year! But when heated up, it was a mellow and full-bodied sake. The first kanji used for sake is "yama" (mountain), and "tsuru" (crane) is the second most used, followed by "sho" and "mune". The first sake brewery to use "Masamune" was "Sakura Masamune" in Hyogo Prefecture, followed by "Kiku Masamune" and "Ski Masamune. Other names include "Kiku-Masamune," "Ski Masamune," and "Obaste Masamune. It is interesting to look up trivia about sake🤣.

Hi WOM 😃 There are a lot of things I don't know about sake when I look it up: ❗️ When it comes to rice names, Yamada-Nishiki is the best. Then Miyamanishiki and Hachitanishiki, and then I can only think of Senbonishiki...

There was another one! Takananishiki. Nishiki" is the most common one ^_^.

Mr. Shota. Thank you very much. I think Nishiki is overwhelming. In the Nishiki family, there are Misato, Hitachi, Yamae, Hakutsuru, Sako, etc., etc. The second hardest to find are the Gin, Hana, and Yume.

I visited a nearby temple at the end of last year so that everyone can enjoy sake in good health again this year. I am currently a recipient of a special old-age pension, but I am in such a position that I will receive the old-age pension from this spring. In the past few years, sake has been produced overseas and imported to Japan. But it is not called "sake" because it is not made in Japan using Japanese rice as the raw material! Let's dredge up our knowledge this year! ^_^ I'm going to re-read the books on sake once again... The first sake to be opened this year was Kagamiyama Daiginjo! Fruity aroma like Daigin, silky, delicate, clear and sharp, it made me enjoy New Year ^_^!
