The last sake of the year 2025 was a local sake from Okayama that was given to me at my parents' house.
This sake is made from Omachi rice and brewed in Omachi's cold spring.
It has a soft aroma and a refreshing taste for Omachi rice, making it easy to drink.
It was served with Yose-nabe (a Japanese hot pot) topped with yellowtail shabu-shabu.

Purchased after tasting at Takarazuka Hankyu
I thought it was too refreshing from the tasting, but I thought it might be possible during a meal.
It's like clear water, but a little smoky.
It felt even more refreshing than when I tasted it💦.
I wonder if the smokiness is a peculiarity of this brewery.
I'd like to see more depth of flavor, but I guess that's not the concept of this sake.
I'm sorry to say that I bought it after tasting it, but I preferred the hi-ire junmai ginjo, but I ended up choosing the nama-shu.
I'm a sake drinker, so I got into the bad habit of choosing nama-zake even if I thought the taste was subtle.
The smokiness went away when I moved it to the Sandesi.
but it's still smoky😅.

When I visited again on the last day, they were sold out of all the fresh sake, so I regretted that I should have bought Isobeki.
After Hanshin Department Store, we went to Takarazuka Hankyu.

Sakura Muromachi Junmai Ginjo Bizen Gen
It seemed that they had had a special junmai Bizen Gen in the past.
I had an image that the special junmai was dry, but the junmai ginjo had a slight ginjo aroma and a clear yet tasty flavor that was quite good!
Seto Contract Cultivated Rice Junmai Sake Seto Omachi
It tastes good at room temperature or warmed up.
Ginjo Nama
The same label is not on the official website, but I wonder if Ginjo-Omachi Namaizu is the equivalent product.
It was very refreshing and tasted like water, but there was nothing else I wanted so I just bought it 😅.
I was surprised at the amount of tasting they gave us 😅.
I wanted to drink the Araubashiri Unfiltered Nama Sake that they serve in the winter time.
I wish they brought it since the official website says it's in stock 🤔.

Bizen tasted sake from Akaban.
It has a refreshing taste without any unpleasant taste on the palate, but the throat feeling is quite impressive.

A special junmai sake brewed with Omachi rice.
It is a bit rough as it is called "Arabashiri", but the aroma of koji (malted rice malt) and the flavor of rice are perfect ^_^.

It has a very good balance between the robust flavor of 100% Omachi rice and the acidity that does not overpower it. You can enjoy the taste of koji rather than the aroma, making this sake easy to pair with meals. This is delicious.

I bought a cup of sake that looked good... it was tangy and spicy just like the label said, with a little sweetness coming in as well... but the umami (depth?) wasn't quite right. I bought a cup of sake that looked delicious!

Izakaya Kintetsu Express Vista Car 2️⃣
The second sake was Sakura Muromachi, which Kaorin also bought for me as a souvenir from her business trip to Okayama 😀.
I was expecting a fruity sake from the label and name, but when I drank it, it was very different 🤣.
It has a slightly peculiar taste and did not go well with Kakinoha Sushi, but the unique taste matched the raw chocolate cheese with orange puree😇.
Today we are on the second floor of the Kintetsu Limited Express Vista Car. It was too dark to see the beautiful scenery when we departed, but as dawn broke, we could see the beautiful scenery little by little😇.

Purchased at Aeon Liquor for drinking in the room. I was going to drink it slowly after taking a bath, but it was too much. It was dry in my opinion, and I finished it in reaction to the refreshing Bokchiri.
I looked for it on my way home, but I couldn't find it at Okayama station or the airport.
