Longed for Tobiroki Black Label One of the reasons I wanted to start sake was because I wanted to get a bottle of Tobiroki in Fukushima. The taste is very strange. Every time I drink it, I have a slightly different impression of it. First of all, it goes well with food. The combination with bonito tataki (grilled bonito) was amazing! When drunk on its own, the mellow and crisp taste of the rice is very satisfying. Very tasty! Not my most favorite flavor.

My Favorite HANA-YOSHI Miyamanishiki this time After drinking many other brands, I can once again see that Huayouyaki is my favorite flavor! The spread of umami in the mouth, the unique pineapple-like ginjo aroma, and the sharpness when swallowed are unmatched by any other sake! I drink it cold every time, but I always drink it cold, even though I think I might like to try heating it up.

Purchased at a store I discovered by chance while strolling around Kitasenju I had it cold this time, but the owner said he also recommends heating it up. It has a strong flavor like a junmai sake, and you can certainly feel the umami of the rice directly when it is heated up! Next time I'll try heating it up (I'll have to get some sake cups)!
