Purchased at a food stall at Takatsuki Jazz Street. 500 yen for a glass, 1,500 yen for a bottle, I had to buy a bottle! I thought, "I have to buy a bottle!
As expected of Eikun, they never fail to deliver. It's great!
I was curious to order it because I heard it had a unique rich and delicious flavor, but it tasted very interesting. As the name suggests, it tastes like cedar.
Some people might be offended if I say it tastes like drinking wood, but I mean it in a good way.
It's like the wonderful aroma of cedar made into sake. Interesting!
Today I wanted to drink a sake that would go well with bluefish, so I decided on a slightly dry and rich sake, different from what I usually drink. Not bad!
It's been a while since I've had hot sake, but I think it's better than most hot sake. It has a nice aroma, and I think I like the dryness better when it's hot!
This is a Junmai Daiginjo from Kikumasamune. It's cheap, but apparently the rice polishing ratio is a whopping 39%! It's not particularly tasty, but the taste is gentle and light, and it's easy to drink, so I thought it would be good for the price.
