Umakuchi type
Rice used: Toyonishiki produced in Aizu
Rice polishing ratio: 55% Alcohol content: 15
This sake has a delicious taste of rice with a gentle sweetness. It has a slight pineapple-like aroma, and a slight bitterness at the end to tighten the aftertaste 😊.
It would go well with something like steamed pork or German potatoes🍟. ❗️
Fukushima Prefecture
Junmai Ginjyo Nama-nihonjunshu Hatsu Shibori-Hajime
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol 16%.
Purchased as part of Kakuyasu's campaign.
It is a special sake that is pressed at the brewery on New Year's Eve and bottled at exactly midnight on New Year's Day.
It arrived on January 1 and was enjoyed immediately.
The aroma is like grape juice.
The taste is dry and the rice is juicy.
The alcohol content is high, and you may get drunk quickly 😅.
I had a glass of the one with the name that really caught my attention.
I thought it would have a strong taste, but it was easy to drink and went down smoothly.
It looks really good if it is lightly heated. I'm going to be a chidori aji soon.
Next is a clear, unadulterated sake.
The clear yet punchy finish recommends a meal.
Along with the famous Teba Daikon (winged radish).
Ingredients: Rice (domestic), rice malt
100% Miyamanishiki rice produced in Aizu
Alcohol content 16
Polishing ratio 60
It was freezing today, so dinner was nabe.
My favorite sake in Fukushima is Sharaku, but this was my first time drinking Eikawa.
It was refreshing but not dry, and I thought it was a good sake for a meal.
Junmai sake is delicious and I like it.
When served cold,
The aroma is pineapple-like, the taste is slightly caramelized sweetness with a firm acidity and a slight alcohol taste at the end.
When lukewarm, the sweetness becomes stronger and the acidity weakens.
Purchased at FamilyMart Naraha Machi Kamishigeoka store
When I was in Fukushima before, I was curious about this one because of the name.
It was watery and easy to drink, but I personally didn't like the taste.
