A delicious Junmai Daiginjo with a good balance of sweet and dry tastes. The alcohol level is around 15 degrees, but it feels quite heavy. Recommended for experienced drinkers.
I heard that the sake brewery has closed? I heard that it will no longer be available, probably because the brewery has closed, but I ordered it!
It is a special junmai sake made with 100% dewy-leaf style rice and Yamanokami yeast.
I was told that it was only available in Niigata Prefecture, so I wanted to drink it because I was in Osaka anyway! I thought W
The taste is dry, but it's gentle so it's ok👌
I'd like a little more sweetness, but...
Eikun's Junmai Daiginjo, which I first learned about at this year's kurabiraki. The taste of Eikun is as expected, and the gentle sweetness is a real pleasure. It is a little lower than Ichigin, but still top class!
The first time in four years? This is a muddy, unpasteurized sake that I received at the first brewery opening in four years. It is quite high in alcohol content and has a sweet and rich taste, so drinking it alone requires a bit of courage, but it is delicious with a side dish of ray fins, etc!
We were served it at a friend's bar, and when we drank it, we all said at the same time, "Shaoxing wine! We all said "Shaoxing wine" at the same time.
But it really tastes like that, so I guess there are different likes and dislikes.
This is the first Junmai Daiginjo I drank from my most favorite brand, Eikun. The usual sweetness and umami taste is on the contrary refreshing and gentle.
I prefer Ancient Capital Sennen and Ichigin, but I still can't get enough of sake made with delicious, pure water!
Oh no, this is still great! I love it so much that it's right up there with Sakusaku and Ancient Capital of a Thousand Years: ❤️
Great job to the junior staff of the company who told me about it 👏.
