The second bottle on New Year's Day.
Although this one is also a Junmai Daiginjo, it tastes exactly the opposite of the first bottle. It is sweet, like brown sugar. The more you drink, the deeper it gets.
This is one of the four bottles in Kakuyasu's annual Hatsu Shibori set.
When the bottle is uncorked, a mellow aroma wafts through the air. When poured into a glass, it looks a little cloudy. Rolling it around on the tongue, one senses a firm, dark sweetness.
This is a winner. It is delicious.
Junmai by Sakaegawa! I received this wine as a gift from my hometown.
It is fresh and easy to drink. The aftertaste is short and light. It is perfect for nabe dishes!
