Tokyo Station (1)
A client contacted me to meet and talk outside of the office, so we went to Tokyo Station for dinner (Yakitori).
Naturally, the topic of the conversation was a heavy one.
So, I didn't take any pictures of the drinks and food, or make any notes,
At the end of the conversation, when things had settled down somewhat, I took a picture of the sake bottles, but only the last dish of shiitake mushrooms (🍄🟫) 😢.
I wasn't in a state to take notes, and I didn't taste the food, so my memory is a bit dubious, but I'll try to document it in case it's worth it!
This is my first time to drink Eikawa.
I think it was a dry and crispy type? I think so!
It's a refreshing drink that goes down smoothly while eating yakitori.
I always buy seasonal products from Sakaegawa.
Hiyayogoro became available this month, so I immediately went to the liquor store 😄.
The labels and bottles are all in autumnal attire 🍂.
My expectations are also high: ⤴️
I opened the bottle on the day of purchase!
There is not much of an aroma, but when you take a sip, you can feel the rich umami of the rice.
The spiciness spreads quickly from the mid-palate, and although it has a nice sharpness, the spiciness lingers.
In my opinion, it is quite dry.
I think it is drier than Eikawa's summer sake.
However, it is a great food sake that gives you a strong sense of rice flavor that is typical of Eikawa 😊.
This makes me look forward to the next new winter sake again: ✌️

Eikawa Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjo-Nama Sake was given to me by a colleague, a teacher, as a kanreki (60th birthday) gift. What is this ⁉️ too delicious🥰★★★★★.
On the way back from a legal trip home, at Shinkansen Nasuno. Eikawa nigori cup purchased at NewDays in Koriyama station. The Shinkansen station has a wide variety of local sake, which is nice. A firm and sweet nigori sake of the royal road.

Last night we drank our way through a party for a business partner 😏.
It was a beer festival, but you can order additional sake and wine.

Sake from Aizuwakamatsu is delicious.
It is refreshing with a fresh, clean, and refreshing aroma.
Is it a food sake with elegant acidity and the delicious flavor of sake rice?
It goes well with cheesy hors d'oeuvres and samba.
