Shohei Otani 50-50 Achievement Day! Congratulations to Shohei Ohtani! 🎊 Amazing..., too amazing.... I was at home teleworking on a day when heavy rain was forecasted and all the JR lines in Niigata city were closed for planned service, so I was able to witness the big news. Wow, he is a monster, isn't he? The pitcher who accomplished this feat is a rehabilitated pitcher. It's amazing. With that in mind, I was able to see the golden 50 shining labels of Ginban's Banshu 50, the flagship brand of Toyama's Ginban Shuzo, brewed with famous water from the Kurobe River and Yamada Nishiki from Okayama Prefecture. Slightly fragrant, with a slightly complex aroma, as if aged, The mouthfeel is sharp, crisp, and refreshing. The acidity is followed by a strong astringency, The bitter taste spreads from the acidity, The taste is stimulating and dry, with a sense of alcohol, The lingering aftertaste lingers gently. Hanamura Junmai Sake Rikuwaden! I didn't know it was available at my favorite Matsuzawa! We almost lost it, but they kindly gave us a chance to get it. The company received unprecedented technical guidance from President Takagi of "Jyushiyo," and even the selection of rice, brewing method, labeling, and naming were supervised by Jyushiyo. Rikuwada is another sake rice that President Takagi spent many years researching and developing, and is now used as a raw material only at Hanayuup. That is amazing, I was told that it is very hard to find, but I had no idea it was such a rare sake. I want to drink some Jyushiyo. 8th cup of mamiana, Kiyozumi Junmai Ginjo from Kusumi Shuzo! I had a glass of Yumehana Koihanabi earlier and wanted to try the regular Kiyoizumi as well. It was served in a glass specially designed for Kiyozumi's cold sake. The glass has a heavy bottom, a narrow shape, and a thin, wide diameter. It has a simple yet stylish design with a star cutout. The size is just right for drinking cold sake. Lovely. They don't have them in stock, but I heard you can buy them at the store. I want one. Clear and beautiful, Full and soft, It has a delicious flavor and lightness, delicious. All in all, it was a great experience.

4th cup of mamiana Yumebanabi Koihanabi from Kusumi Shuzo, a sake brewery in Natsuko, Koshi-tanrei is used for the malted rice, and Kame-no-o is used for the premium rice. In 2024, Yumebanabi Koihanabi was upgraded to Junmai Ginjo (the rice polishing ratio is the Daiginjo standard). When cold sake is poured, it is served in a flat cup that turns the color of fireworks.
