Today is the day of the Niigata Sake Gold Master, the practical test! It's finally here!
I got myself in shape in the morning, and based on my previous reflections, I have been concentrating on my hopes!
It's been a while since I've practiced sake tasting with room temperature, fire-brewed sake, so it's been a while since I've had any draft sake!
Brilliantly fruity acidity with a firm rice aroma,
The mouthfeel is silky and smooth.
The acidity is very strong and heavy,
The mellow, rich flavor of nama-shu,
The fresh bitterness lingers gently in the aftertaste.
It is delicious and thick!
Take notes as you have practiced,
Do not drink water immediately before or during the tasting,
Lick a little sake beforehand...
I heard that the first alcoholic drink of the day makes you feel stronger. I chose Kubota, which I am used to drinking.
The test, I think I did well! Last time I had no idea... but this time I know (I think) how to distribute the time! I'm looking forward to the results.
I wonder what kind of sake it was!
This weekend is the Echigo Kenshin SAKE Festival! This is the hometown tax return gift from Joetsu City that I ordered along with the ticket!
