On my way home from Ibaraki, I visited the Gransta Hasegawa Sake Shop at Tokyo Station.
The brewer at the store recommended Yamagata Yonetsuru Shiboritate, a New Year's-inspired sake with a festive label!
The name of the brand is said to be a reference to the richly harvested ears of rice that bow to the brewer, and the folk tale "Tsuru no Onsho" ("The Return of the Crane") passed down in the brewer's hometown. The lush ears of rice can also be seen on the sake lid.
The aroma is crisp and refreshing, with a hint of apple,
The crisp and refreshing apple aroma, the dry and refreshing acidity, the fresh and crisp dryness, and the crisp and refreshing acidity,
Fresh, crisp, and dry,
It is fresh, crisp, dry, and crisp and dry,
Light, light and dry,
Easy to drink and smooth!
Delicious!
