Tourmai? Not Junmai? I was curious and picked it up at the liquor store. As the name "Tourmai" implies, there is a different sake rice for each month of the year! The label on the back of the bottle says "This month's rice is this month's sake rice. The Yamadanishiki version for May and the Omachi version for July were on sale at the liquor store, but as an Omachi fan, I chose this one (^^). The label is designed with a "bird of the month + ears of rice" design, but the Yumachi version has a swan? The Omachi version has a swan? This design, combined with the ears of rice, makes it look like a phoenix or phoenix. This design is also cool! The taste is a little spicy and refreshing on the palate, but there is a long-lasting aftertaste as it flows down the throat. I was impressed that even with a low rice polishing ratio of 70%, it is possible to produce such a refreshing taste. It might be a good match with Iburi Gako (pickled ginger) or something similar. I will drink it with a wish that it will stand up like a phoenix at work, produce results, and bloom like a flower in full bloom!

Comet" is written "Shah", a sake named after Gundam's Shah. The alphabet is lined up in a row. The alphabet is read as "Dutoit-Neuimin Delporte," which is taken from the name of a real comet. I thought the label was a green bottle with colorful goldfish or carp scattered in a cool atmosphere... and then I realized after I bought it that it is a colorful comet (laughs). According to the liquor store's description. It is a low-alcohol sake (al 13%) brewed with "Yamae-Nishiki" from Nagano Prefecture and blended with two types of yeast, characterized by its fruity taste and refreshing aftertaste. It is a low alcohol sake (al 13%) with a fruity and refreshing aftertaste. When you drink it, the fruity flavor is indeed very smooth and light! Two types of yeast, one with a melon flavor and the other with a green apple flavor, seem to be used. Melon + green apple = ? I was looking forward to it. I was looking forward to it, but I couldn't help but notice that it had both melon and green apple flavors... Some people on the Internet said it was pineapple, but I personally think it's more like a green fruit. While I was thinking about what dishes would go well with it as a snack, the 2-gou tokkuri was empty (^^)

My first Kagawa sake. I was looking forward to opening the bottle. The label is stylishly designed with the words "Kawazuru" and two cranes! The online description said it was a low-alcohol sake with a sharp impression with a pleasant acidity and a delicious taste of rice. My first impression, based on my own judgment and prejudice, when I actually drank it was This is like Shinsei! Sorry, Shinsei fans, m(_ _)m, I'm open to objections (laugh). This is just my personal and frank impression. Shinsei is my personal Hall of Fame sake, so I really like the taste!

Karato Mountain" is a sake brewed exclusively at a local roadside station by the MISO SAKE Brewery, famous for its "Yuho" series. This junmai sake is brewed with naturally grown Koshihikari rice polished to 60%. It is named after the "Karatoyama Sumo wrestling ring" where the Tsuji Sumo wrestling ring, which has been (supposedly) continued for 2000 years in the local area, is located. The label also features a cute design of ears of rice in the rice paddies and a sumo wrestler entering the ring! It is a sake sold at a roadside station for tourists, right? Don't be fooled! The flavor of the rice can be felt well, and when served cold, it has a pleasant flavor without being too spicy. It may be just the right sake for a mealtime drink (^^)

I haven't had "Amabuki" for a long time, maybe 3-4 years. I saw it at a liquor store and bought it because I wanted to drink Amabuki. This Amabuki, made with Omachi and Ichigo yeast, won a gold medal at the 2022 IWC (International Salmon Challenge) held this past April. There is an anecdote about this sake that it became the talk of the town the following year when footage of Arashi's Aiba helping to prepare this sake was shown during the 2010 Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White singing contest). The first thing you taste is the slightly spicy flavor that is typical of Japanese sake, followed by the ginjo aroma. The ginjo aroma comes after that, and I don't think it has a strong fruity flavor such as strawberry. This is just my personal opinion.

Kamikigen's Sake Wachi at this time of the year, which has become an annual tradition. I was able to buy it again this year (^^) I enjoyed the feeling of the slightly carbonated and refreshing flavor that spread to my mouth, just as the name "Schwatch" implies. It doesn't feel like summer without it. Before I bought this, I saw Shin Ultraman, but Shin Ultraman doesn't say "Schwatch! (laughs). I think I'll rent an Ultraman DVD by a guy named Schwatch and watch it while I drink this tonight 🍶.

A summer sake version of our favorite Yoshida Kurau! It is a low-alcohol, pure Junmai Daiginjo made with "Hyakumangoku no Shiro," which is my personal favorite sake rice at Modern Yamahai. The label is stylish, with a black color reminiscent of twilight and a woman trying to dance! The spring sake "Hello & GoodBye" also had a relatively low alcohol content of about 13%, but this one is 9%. It is about the same as a strong chu-hai. The taste is very light, with a sweet ginjo aroma, as it is a junmai daiginjo. ...so I found myself drinking more than half of a 4-ounce bottle at once (^_^;). As the name suggests, both the label and the taste would not be out of place if young people drank it by the bottle while watching street dancers at night. It is just an image (laugh).

My first "Choyo Fukumusume". My personal Hall of Fame brand is "Toyo Bijin" and I also like "Gohashi", so I have a good image of Yamaguchi Prefecture's sake (^^) The lapel is an active one, with a Japanese-style girl in kimono holding a sake cup and a sake cup, skydiving with a cat. Looking at the back, it says "Concept Workers Selection" series, which makes sense (lol). I like this series... It's not sweet, but the ginjo aroma spreads on the palate, giving it a refreshing "summer sake" feel! I think it would be delicious with yakitori as a side dish.

It is said to be one of the longest-selling sake of Shiroro Tarusyu. Winner of the highest gold medal at the 2022 Tasty Sake in a Wine Glass Awards! Brewed with local sake rice, local subsoil water, and local yeast. The taste is refreshing. The taste is clean, but with a hint of rice flavor... With this salty flavor, it can be paired with any dish... I checked and found that I drank Hakuro Taruzu at the same time last year (laugh).

Sparkling sake brewed in the "modern Yamahai" method using "Hyakumangoku no Shiro" sake rice, which is another personal favorite of my favorite "Yoshida Kurau". The label is inspired by flowers, and as you can tell from the name, it is a sake with the image of spring encounters and partings, and flowers to add to the start of the season. ◎Energy Transparency ◎Swirl I heard that these are the keywords. It has a milky white color like Kappis, is shwashy, low in alcohol (al13%), refreshing, slightly sweet, and easy to drink! It is truly a sparkling rice wine. Chill it in a refrigerator and pour it into a wine glass. Please enjoy it chilled in a refrigerator and pour it into a wine glass. It has a fizzy character, so be careful not to spill the wine when opening the bottle. Be careful not to spill the wine when opening the bottle. Open the bottle a little at a time to avoid spills. The tag explains that the wine is foamy, so please be careful not to spill the bottle when opening it.

The name "Hanato Koishite" is derived from a tanka poem written by Dr. Makino. The transparent bottle with a simple flower design on the label is beautiful! Sold in two-part bottles, it makes a great gift for someone special! I thought I would give it as a Mother's Day gift. I was going to give it as a Mother's Day gift, but then I remembered that my mother doesn't drink (-...-). -I'll have to drink it myself! I decided to drink it with the logic that she doesn't drink (lol). The first sip was spicy first, but then came the umami of rice, and after that, the spiciness did not bother me. It was a change like that. This is my first experience with Tsukiyotan, but I can feel the sweetness and umami of the rice, and it is delicious!

Comet (Char)" after a long time As you can tell from the name, it is named with Gundam in mind (^^). I bought it because I was impressed that a different liquor store from the one where I bought it before started selling it, and also because I personally feel that I have to "strike back" from now on due to my work. It's been a while since I've had it, but I like the balance of flavors. It's like a "rice wine" and would go well with cream croquettes.

They tried brewing the exact same sake with speakers using bone conduction technology to vibrate the fermenting unrefined sake tank and listen to classical music. Type "F" with Toji's selected music Type "G" with music selected by the female brewer Enjoy the difference between the two (according to the liquor store). Does the taste change when you play classical music to the unrefined sake? I was skeptical, but when I drank it Certainly not! The F one is light, a little sweet and refreshing. The G one is a little spicy and robust with a sense of umami. Personally, I prefer F(^o^)/. For the next series, I'd like to hear rock or jazz music (lol).

I have wanted to try "Gazanryu" for a long time. Every time I go to a liquor store, I am always curious about other delicious brands and don't buy them (laughs). I fell in love with the design of the blue bottle with dancing cherry blossoms and finally bought it! The design of the cat in the dancing cherry blossoms is cute. The first sip has a well-balanced flavor that is neither too sweet nor too spicy, followed by a hint of ginjo, and finally a touch of spiciness. Just the way I like it! I should have bought it earlier.

This sake is made by aging Shimane Prefecture's sake "Tamasakura" in red wine barrels that played an active role in Niigata Prefecture's Fermier. 2020 was the year it was released, and I bought it from a local liquor store that had cold storage. It has a reddish color because it was aged in red wine barrels. One sip and you can certainly taste the red wine flavor. But it also has the flavor of light, dry sake! Mysterious taste. As the name "Adult" suggests, it tastes like an adult. The label is also stylish with a mature design. Hmmm...I thought about what snacks would go well with this, so I paired it with cheese and chilled tomatoes that I had in the fridge. But it seems to go really well with strong-flavored dishes.

I've had Koko Apple before, which uses apple yeast, and it was delicious, so I'm planning to buy Koko when they have a different kind, but the name "Kambashi" and the cherry blossom tag were so cute that I bought it. According to the liquor store It's really gorgeous and fruity, so please drink it up as soon as possible after opening the bottle, or the taste will get rough very fast! ...I'm a weak drinker, so it's impossible for me to finish it early... (laughs) When I tried it, my first impression was... Pineapple soda! This is so good! The fruity aroma and the sweet flavor that comes through the nose are amazing, as befits the name "Kambashi" (^^) It will be nice to drink this when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

I bought a bottle at a liquor store. When I looked at the back, I saw that it was from the Concept Workers Selection series. The labels of this series are all very cool! As you can see on the neck in the photo, there are three versions: full moon, half moon, and crescent moon, each representing "OKU" in the shape of the moon. This "crescent moon" is the version that has been cold-aged in the refrigerator for 10 months. My first impression when I tried it was that it had a good balance of flavors and was easy to drink! As you continue to drink two or three sips, you can feel the flavor spreading in your mouth. I personally like the lapel and the taste (^^) I would like to try the full moon and half moon versions.

I've been wanting to drink Hououmita's "Tsurugidashi" for a long time. I love the fruity and sweet taste of Hououmita, but this is dry! Normally, this series is only sold in 1-gallon bottles, but now that the demand for home drinking is increasing, it is available only in 4-gallon bottles. I stopped by a liquor store that I only go to when I'm in the Pearl, and I found it by chance and bought it on impulse (laughs). It's certainly drier than the usual Hououmita. A drink to celebrate the new year of 2022. It was recommended to me by a liquor store I know at the end of the year. The label is a cute picture of a tiger by Kutani-yaki potter Keigo Kamide.
