Sake that an acquaintance of mine received as a gift on a trip to Yamagata. This acquaintance drank this sake in Yamagata and ran out of 2 gou of it in no time... When you put it in your mouth, the ginjo aroma comes first, followed by the spiciness, and then it is cut off. It was cold today, so I tried it with yudofu (tofu). I have tried other sake breweries that use Dewa Sanzu, and they are all delicious.

When I come to Okinawa, I'll go to "Reimei". I'm not sure if it's my first time to go to Okinawa, but it's my first time to go to Okinawa. It's a traditional sake!

I had been interested in this sake for several years, but every time I went to a liquor store, I was always tempted by other brands and could not buy it (laugh). I finally bought it! Don't keep it in the fridge. Don't judge this sake by the first sip. It has a unique flavor, so drink a little at a time to get your palate used to it. Let it air out after opening the cork. And so on... Sake with a lot of advice from the brewery (laughs) When drinking in large quantities, I recommend 1-2 weeks after opening the bottle. I opened the bottle and put it in a corner of the room, tasting a sip every two days, and today is the 8th day. It's true that the flavor is mellowing! It's interesting to see the sweetness coming out as the days go by! It's fun to feel like I'm nurturing the sake. I didn't know sake could be enjoyed this way!

Okunoto" for a long time. This sake is brewed with local sake rice and yeast extracted from local seaweed. This time it was a gift from the farmer who produces the sake rice. Of all the Takeba brands, Okunoto is my favorite. It has a slightly sweet taste with a lactobacillus-like flavor and is easy to drink.

It's been a long time since I've had a "work". From the liquor store. This year's Saku Hiyoroshi is very hard to find! So I bought it! I don't know if it's hard to get only in my area or nationwide, but it's certainly hard to get, and it's easy to drink, and goes down your throat more smoothly and more mellowly than the usual Saku. This is delicious!

Bamboo leaves after a long time This sake is a collaboration with a group of local university students called N Project. The label design was also thought up by the university student group. It's refreshing and has a bit of a lactobacillus-type flavor, I think. I like Takeba's "Okunoto," so I guess I am pulled by that image (laughs). Low alcohol (al 11%), easy to drink!

I was at a liquor store I often go to and was trying to decide which hiyaoroshi to buy. In August, all the employees tasted the sake and decided to buy the one from the tank that they had decided to buy. and shipped the one from the tank we decided on. I bought this sake after hearing this episode. I also wished for good luck in my current job! It is a little spicy compared to the sake I usually drink, but the balance of flavor and freshness, including the spiciness, is amazing! It seems to go well with any snacks without interfering with them! Tomorrow is the local autumn festival, so I'm celebrating the night before.

Junmai Daiginjo of Tedorigawa using "Hyakumangoku No Shiro" sake rice, which is my personal favorite. Today, I had a chance to listen to Mr. Yoshida, the president of Yoshida Sake Brewery, and I was so impressed by his passion for sake brewing that I'm going to share it with you tonight (^^) After listening to the thoughts of the brewer, the taste is exceptional! It is a junmai daiginjo spec, so you can taste the ginjo aroma, but it also has a spicy and refreshing flavor, and the taste is well-balanced! I like the balance of Tetorigawa the best among the sake made with Hyakumangoku No Shiro.

A new product from NEXT5, a unit formed by young brewers from five sake breweries in Akita Prefecture. The new product is a monthly release, starting in August, of a product that shares only the same rice, but has each brewery's own characteristics. The August release is by the Kuribayashi Shuzoten, famous for its Haruka sake. According to the Internet, the sake is so popular that it is sold by lottery, but it was sold at a liquor store that I often go to. The sake bottle is beautiful, with a pinkish tint reminiscent of grapes. It looks like a high-class sake kept in a high-class club or something. The taste is as delicious as it sounds! The fruity taste and rice flavor in the mouth is more like wine than sake. I have had Haruka before, but this is something completely different! I opened a bottle to commemorate my family's birthday, and it turned out to be a great memory.

The label of a kayak rafting down a river through picturesque greenery stuck and I bought it. Looking at the back, the words "Concept Workers Selection"... This series really has a nice label design👍. According to the Internet, there is also a brand called Cycling that was released in the spring. As I enjoy cycling, I would love to drink that one too 😆. The taste is a Junmai Daiginjo, so you can feel both the fruity ginjo aroma spreading on the palate and the delicious sake-like flavor, but with a soft mouthfeel that is very satisfying to me personally. Today is the end of my pre-bon workday, and tomorrow is my holiday, so I opened the bottle, and it looks like it will be a good start to the holiday weekend!

Tourmai? Not Junmai? I was curious and picked it up at the liquor store. As the name "Tourmai" implies, there is a different sake rice for each month of the year! The label on the back of the bottle says "This month's rice is this month's sake rice. The Yamadanishiki version for May and the Omachi version for July were on sale at the liquor store, but as an Omachi fan, I chose this one (^^). The label is designed with a "bird of the month + ears of rice" design, but the Yumachi version has a swan? The Omachi version has a swan? This design, combined with the ears of rice, makes it look like a phoenix or phoenix. This design is also cool! The taste is a little spicy and refreshing on the palate, but there is a long-lasting aftertaste as it flows down the throat. I was impressed that even with a low rice polishing ratio of 70%, it is possible to produce such a refreshing taste. It might be a good match with Iburi Gako (pickled ginger) or something similar. I will drink it with a wish that it will stand up like a phoenix at work, produce results, and bloom like a flower in full bloom!

Comet" is written "Shah", a sake named after Gundam's Shah. The alphabet is lined up in a row. The alphabet is read as "Dutoit-Neuimin Delporte," which is taken from the name of a real comet. I thought the label was a green bottle with colorful goldfish or carp scattered in a cool atmosphere... and then I realized after I bought it that it is a colorful comet (laughs). According to the liquor store's description. It is a low-alcohol sake (al 13%) brewed with "Yamae-Nishiki" from Nagano Prefecture and blended with two types of yeast, characterized by its fruity taste and refreshing aftertaste. It is a low alcohol sake (al 13%) with a fruity and refreshing aftertaste. When you drink it, the fruity flavor is indeed very smooth and light! Two types of yeast, one with a melon flavor and the other with a green apple flavor, seem to be used. Melon + green apple = ? I was looking forward to it. I was looking forward to it, but I couldn't help but notice that it had both melon and green apple flavors... Some people on the Internet said it was pineapple, but I personally think it's more like a green fruit. While I was thinking about what dishes would go well with it as a snack, the 2-gou tokkuri was empty (^^)

My first Kagawa sake. I was looking forward to opening the bottle. The label is stylishly designed with the words "Kawazuru" and two cranes! The online description said it was a low-alcohol sake with a sharp impression with a pleasant acidity and a delicious taste of rice. My first impression, based on my own judgment and prejudice, when I actually drank it was This is like Shinsei! Sorry, Shinsei fans, m(_ _)m, I'm open to objections (laugh). This is just my personal and frank impression. Shinsei is my personal Hall of Fame sake, so I really like the taste!

Karato Mountain" is a sake brewed exclusively at a local roadside station by the MISO SAKE Brewery, famous for its "Yuho" series. This junmai sake is brewed with naturally grown Koshihikari rice polished to 60%. It is named after the "Karatoyama Sumo wrestling ring" where the Tsuji Sumo wrestling ring, which has been (supposedly) continued for 2000 years in the local area, is located. The label also features a cute design of ears of rice in the rice paddies and a sumo wrestler entering the ring! It is a sake sold at a roadside station for tourists, right? Don't be fooled! The flavor of the rice can be felt well, and when served cold, it has a pleasant flavor without being too spicy. It may be just the right sake for a mealtime drink (^^)

I haven't had "Amabuki" for a long time, maybe 3-4 years. I saw it at a liquor store and bought it because I wanted to drink Amabuki. This Amabuki, made with Omachi and Ichigo yeast, won a gold medal at the 2022 IWC (International Salmon Challenge) held this past April. There is an anecdote about this sake that it became the talk of the town the following year when footage of Arashi's Aiba helping to prepare this sake was shown during the 2010 Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White singing contest). The first thing you taste is the slightly spicy flavor that is typical of Japanese sake, followed by the ginjo aroma. The ginjo aroma comes after that, and I don't think it has a strong fruity flavor such as strawberry. This is just my personal opinion.

Kamikigen's Sake Wachi at this time of the year, which has become an annual tradition. I was able to buy it again this year (^^) I enjoyed the feeling of the slightly carbonated and refreshing flavor that spread to my mouth, just as the name "Schwatch" implies. It doesn't feel like summer without it. Before I bought this, I saw Shin Ultraman, but Shin Ultraman doesn't say "Schwatch! (laughs). I think I'll rent an Ultraman DVD by a guy named Schwatch and watch it while I drink this tonight 🍶.

A summer sake version of our favorite Yoshida Kurau! It is a low-alcohol, pure Junmai Daiginjo made with "Hyakumangoku no Shiro," which is my personal favorite sake rice at Modern Yamahai. The label is stylish, with a black color reminiscent of twilight and a woman trying to dance! The spring sake "Hello & GoodBye" also had a relatively low alcohol content of about 13%, but this one is 9%. It is about the same as a strong chu-hai. The taste is very light, with a sweet ginjo aroma, as it is a junmai daiginjo. ...so I found myself drinking more than half of a 4-ounce bottle at once (^_^;). As the name suggests, both the label and the taste would not be out of place if young people drank it by the bottle while watching street dancers at night. It is just an image (laugh).

My first "Choyo Fukumusume". My personal Hall of Fame brand is "Toyo Bijin" and I also like "Gohashi", so I have a good image of Yamaguchi Prefecture's sake (^^) The lapel is an active one, with a Japanese-style girl in kimono holding a sake cup and a sake cup, skydiving with a cat. Looking at the back, it says "Concept Workers Selection" series, which makes sense (lol). I like this series... It's not sweet, but the ginjo aroma spreads on the palate, giving it a refreshing "summer sake" feel! I think it would be delicious with yakitori as a side dish.

It is said to be one of the longest-selling sake of Shiroro Tarusyu. Winner of the highest gold medal at the 2022 Tasty Sake in a Wine Glass Awards! Brewed with local sake rice, local subsoil water, and local yeast. The taste is refreshing. The taste is clean, but with a hint of rice flavor... With this salty flavor, it can be paired with any dish... I checked and found that I drank Hakuro Taruzu at the same time last year (laugh).
