I found out about Akaban Omachi on the internet. I found it rather mild and refreshing, which is hard to believe for a sake degree of +13 degrees. I am sorry that I cannot mention the aroma because I am currently having problems with my sense of smell.
I had been drinking this sake for a long time, but I happened to see this 'hiyaoroshi' in the refrigerated section of the supermarket. It was still a delicious sake with a sharp taste and umami.
It was a gift and at first I found it to be very sweet, but as I continued drinking it, I found it to be a rather calm sake characterized by its mildness.
It is dry at a sake strength of +8, but it has a slight sweetness and umami taste at first, which soon became refreshing and clean. It was a delicious sake to drink chilled in summer.
Although it was rated -4 on the sake scale, it was characterized more by its clean and mild character than by its sweetness, and was the very essence of a chilled summer saké.
It is a local sake from Ibaraki, but I did not see much of it in the liquor stores nearby. I happened to see it and picked it up. It was a dry sake with a deep flavor.
