Tanzawa, on the border of Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures, has good sake. Tanzawayama and Matsumidori.
Tanzawa, Mt. Fuji, Mt. Kintoki, and the water must be good. Not only sake but also whiskey is available.
Now, a friend of mine sent me a bottle of Matsu Midori Shiboritate, a freshly brewed, unpasteurized sake.
It was given to me at the beginning of the New Year.
I thought it had been left at room temperature, but....
I was relieved to see that it was not damaged at all.
I refrigerated it and enjoyed it. It is fresh, bitter, refreshing, and easy to drink. On a hot day like today, cool snacks are good.
