Bonito is expensive. It's a matter of life and death for me, a bonito lover. I bought this char-grilled bonito at a department store. It's frozen bonito, but it's good. Straw-roasted bonito has a nice aroma, but charcoal-roasted bonito has a nice aroma too. And above all, the bitterness is good. Tosa sake is the best for bonito. Bikuyo has a gentle sweetness. Even arabashiri has a gentle sweetness.
