I went to a liquor store and was wondering what to buy and bought this Halloween 🎃 label because the label caught my eye. The Hiragana "Takachiyo" is sweet and fresh. It is as expected and a delicious sake.

Nigori (nigori) sake available year-round. It is a honjozo sake, but it is very tasty. It has a high alcohol content of 19 degrees, but you can drink it without feeling it. The bitterness after the deliciousness and sweetness of the rice is pleasant. This is the kind of sake that you can't drink too much of.

The second cup from last weekend. Ippo-self's Junmai Ginjo, which is available in limited quantities starting at the beginning of September. I wondered how it would be this year. The rice flavor and bitterness are well balanced. It's good again this year. I hope they make it a regular item, not just a limited time release.

Last weekend, I couldn't wait for a drink at 7pm, only one. First, we started with Akatombo, which we hadn't bought yet. It is easy to drink with a good balance of sourness and sweetness. I served it with seared herring pickled with Japanese pepper. How could it not taste good?

Is it a thousand-armed Kannon, or is it Kenshiro, or is it a figure handling koji? Cheerful label 😆. What a sake to order when you see the label. It is easy to drink with a sweet and sour taste at a low alcohol content of 13 degrees. I wonder if it is because they increased the amount of koji.

I was called out on Sunday for a drink at an eel restaurant, but no eels were served. I thought 😫 Why not? It was sweet and fruity. The acidity is moderate, but it's refreshing and tightening.

Nice apple-like aroma. Crisp and refreshing, with just the right amount of acidity and a lingering bitterness. It's delicious! There is a party to enjoy Tenmei Ichiban Shibori on November 3, but today is the deadline. Maybe next year.

We went to a new standing bar. Well, they mainly serve wine, but they also have a natural sake and two other types of sake, all of which are kept at room temperature. They were serving a cocktail of Shizen-shu (natural sake) and Nigori (sake made from the yeast of the same name) mixed with carbonated water and lemon juice, so I tried it. It was easy to drink. But I would prefer to drink it chilled as it is.

9月の3連休、長時間の運転から帰ってきて疲れを癒す意味で、キャップが硬いとか瓶が真っ黒で中身が見えんとか色々文句言いながら開栓。 新政特有の酸味と甘さ。 白ワインにも似た感じ。 低アルで飲みやすいけど、味が薄く感じる。

I was supposed to be off for the weekend, but for some reason I was invited to the Nakayama Racecourse to watch the race. After the race yesterday, we went to a kushiyaki restaurant in Akasaka and drank a glass of Oibaiwa. I opened the bottle on the spot. It was fresh, sweet and slightly carbonated. It's my first time to drink it, but it's very good. I'd like to repeat drinking it if it's available near me. Now, I wonder what will come in the Sprinter's Stakes: ⁉️ Oban Burumai?

Before the review meeting on a day when golf ended earlier than expected, we started drinking at a large izakaya (Japanese-style pub). It had been a long time since I had had a bottle of Koshino-Kanbai. It is light and refreshing. It's what they call "light and dry. I want to drink it lukewarm.

My drinking buddy bought me some Kyoto souvenirs and treated me to some sake that he kept at his favorite restaurant. He had the guts to keep it in stock for 4 months 😁. The rice flavor and acidity are well balanced, and the sake is a bit dry and crisp.
