Nigori (nigori) sake is brewed by brewers who put a lot of time and effort into it. It is only roughly strained from the mash of pure rice sake, so there is plenty of rice in the bottle.
We served it chilled first 😋.
When chilled, the sake is quite dry with a freshness and a chattering sensation that is typical of nama-shu.
It is a very man's sake with a bitter and astringent aftertaste.
I wonder what kind of snacks would go well with this kind of sake... 🧐
It was a delicious sake in a genre I have not had much of before!
I had it lukewarm 🤤 with the previous information that it tastes great heated up.
My first impression when I heated it up was a delicious bitterness! I felt the same as I did when it was cold, but the bitterness and a slight bitterness were present, while the umami came out in full force and was delicious!
I'm not sure what it's from, but it has a slight savory flavor? I don't know what it's from, but it's also delicious!
Thank you very much!
It is a 2023BY, brewed No. 19. I tried it at room temperature and found it to be rich, dry, and deep, and it tasted like it should be heated. It was a perfect match with stir-fried minced meat, green peppers, and bamboo shoots.
At an izakaya in Namba under the direct management of the Kubohonke Sake Brewery.
I don't usually drink such a cloudy sake, but it was a very sharp and crisp cup with a delicious rice flavor.
It was a very satisfying sake that goes well with strong flavored entrées. 🙆♂️
