Last weekend, I had a little time to have a quick drink before going to an after-party with a client. It has a gassy, refreshing sweet and sour taste. It's a low alcohol (14%), but it's very drinkable. I like Akabu's seasonal sake.

A souvenir from a junior colleague whose hometown is Takabatake. I thought it was Takabatake wine, but it turned out to be sake 😭Thank you 😁. This sake is made from 77% polished Dewanosato, Yamagata Prefecture's original rice suitable for sake brewing. Nigori and a little fizzy. Freshness of the raw sake. It is refreshing and has a firm flavor. This is the first time I have had this sake, but it is very good. This is 1,100 yen. Great cospa. ‼️

I've been out drinking a lot in July, so I've been slacking on posting. I opened a bottle of sake I hadn't bought in a while. It has a gorgeous aroma and is very juicy. As you can see in the review, it has a tropical flavor and a pleasant gaseous sensation. I might drink it with ice.

Went to Koriyama for car inspection. The loaner car was a piece of crap😭I was disappointed, but the weather was nice, so I went to Gonoi Sake Shop on my way to Aizu Sakaeshita. I bought some "Ao", and then went to Ito butcher store a few hundred meters away to buy some "Bashimi" (horse sashimi) and "Umamotsu" (horse giblets). This combination is a must 😅. The owner said that there is a "yakkoi" place, but the horse sashimi at this store is thinly sliced and soft. I know some people prefer thick slices of horse sashimi, and there may be pros and cons, but I like the "Yakkoi" horse sashimi here 😁. The horse motsu has no smell, so I use it as vinegared motsu, and eat a few pieces of horse sashimi with garlic and spicy miso sauce. It's delicious. I drink it. It's good. I soak in the afterglow. Repeat aftertaste. Peach Label has a sweet taste with a long bitter aftertaste. It has a fresh feeling and is a very good sake when it is hot.

I've been drinking sake from other prefectures😅. I'm not going to cheat all the time, I'm going to have some Fukushima sake here. I was happy to see that they have a selection of sake from the National New Sake Competition. This time I chose "Romain". This sake is made from the same tank as the sake that won the gold medal at this year's National New Sake Competition. The price is a little high, but it must be good! The characteristic of Romanchu is the four-stage brewing process using glutinous rice, isn't it? It is fresh and gorgeous. It has a deep sweetness. It is pleasant to drink.

I had a bottle of Rokunoh Brewery so I drank it. It is fresh and fruity with a stable, slightly effervescent, low-alcoholic drinkability. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between Rokunohozo and Rokunohozo unless I compare the two 😅.

'Tenth Anniversary Appreciation Sake' There's a sake you've been wanting to try. I had to try it. The aroma is mild, but it smells like cotton candy. A little chili. It is fruity with more acidity than sweetness. The low alcohol content (13%) makes it very easy to drink.

Again, the first Kamerei Hitogokochi. It has a fruity aroma with a hint of fruit. I like it very much. There is a subtle chilliness. The sweetness is strong, followed by sourness and a bit of bitterness.

There was an overpriced sake that I had never seen before, but I tried it. First of all, it had a beautiful amber color. When I drank it, I found it had a strong taste. It was like a sweetpotato shochu, which is different from a barrel sake. It is not my favorite sake. I have been traumatized by sweetpotato shochu since I had a reverse reaction to it in the past (laugh). I googled it and found out that it is a sake released in 2023 with Yosuke Kubozuka as the ambassador, made from organically grown sake rice and blended from three different types of sake produced by Fukumitsuya, a certified organic sake brewery. I was even more surprised when I saw the list price. I can't afford to buy it myself. There are still so many sake that I don't know about!

I've had silver tortoise before but this is my first time with gold tortoise ‼️ When I ordered it, there wasn't enough for one cup 😭. I got the last of the bottle. I couldn't feel the gas a bit but I love the mellow aroma after putting it in my mouth. It has a deep sweetness and a slightly dry aftertaste. Yum.

Since the end of June, I have been working without a weekend off due to horse racing, so last Saturday evening I made a reservation at a restaurant I had checked out on Instagram for a one-person drink to replenish my energy for the final day of the race on July 21. The first sake I started with was "Sato Ubei," and I opened the unopened bottle on the spot. The first sake was "Sato Ubei," and I opened it right then and there. I think I prefer it to No.6. It was a good decision to drink it first. But the owner is out of his mind to offer all-you-can-drink 😅. I drank 2 cups of sake, thinking that it is better to share good sake. The first drink that got me excited.

I used to drink it on business trips to Aichi. I felt like drinking it, so I bought it. It has been a long time since I drank Kuheiji at home. I didn't pay attention to it before, but I heard that EAU DU DESIR means "water of hope". For a tired office worker, any sake might be the water of hope😅. It has a restrained sweetness. It has a strong sourness, followed by bitterness.
