Everyone loves AKABU's cold grated I always say that it has a tropical aroma, but I've had too many fruity drinks and my nose is stupid 😭. I can only say that it smells good when I'm drunk too much 😭. I remember that it has a mild and gentle sweetness on the palate 😋. The alcohol is light at 13%, and the acidity that comes afterwards is beautiful and easy to drink. ☺️

First time for Nagatoro-san Nagatoro-san was recently at Starbucks ☕️ in Kawagoe for a tasting and sales event so that we could have it in our store! The aroma is fruity, with pineapple and tropical flavors wafting through the air 🤤. The taste is gorgeous and fruity, with a juicy fresh fruitiness that is delicious! The finish is clean and refreshing without being heavy ✨. I would buy this sake when I have an empty fridge 🍶.

I got my favorite orange sea by Kangiku 😋. Sorry for not being able to pick it up since my fridge is full 😭. Since we're here, let's take a sip! It has a fruity aroma with a hint of fruitiness, and the deep flavor that comes from a summer's sleep is irresistible 🥰. The taste is slightly sweet, with a mellow rice flavor like ripe fruit & juicy deliciousness✨. The mild acidity and piquancy are also in perfect balance 🥳. I knew Kangiku-san was good! There was a sparkler and a back-up sparkler drinking comparison, so we were very excited to try them! I was so excited that I had to try them! The sparkler has a lemon squash and citrus aroma, with a sweetness and sourness like that of a capsicum, and a crisp and refreshing impression. The back, Senkohana, is much less acidic and has a smooth sweetness that makes it a great drink. ☺️ As a lover of sweet and juicy, I preferred Ura-Senkohana!

AKABU, which I haven't had much to drink for some reason. We decided to have a Junmai Daiginjo from the UA collaboration 🍶. The ginjo aroma is juicy and reminds me of sweetness 😋. The taste is soft and clear with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity to make it easy to drink. I could also taste the umami of the rice and it was quite my favorite umami sake! I think I might like AKABU 🥳✨

This time, I drank a combination of yonotori & yonotori that I ate with gusto 🍶. We ordered the Yonotori first. I was told that vanilla ice cream and sweet potato with nuts would also go well together, so I ordered more 😋. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to eat yonotori, so I waited for it to come out! It looks like yogurt or porridge, or doburoku (a kind of concentrated drink) 😆. First, take a sip! It has a strong sour taste, but the sweetness of the rice comes out later! The taste is also strong, and the sweet sweet potato salad goes really well with it 🥳. I had some vanilla to refresh my palate, and then I decided to try the Yonotori and the Eating Yonotori together! Mmmm, the flavor of the yonotori was so strong that the flavor of the drink was lost 🥺. The waitress also seemed to have tried it and smiled and said, "It loses its taste, doesn't it lol"! You knew that 😭 But it's not every day you get a chance to pair such a precious sake, so it was a great experience ✨.

I had bought it before but was too lazy to drink it, so I decided to have it because I could drink it standing up! It is a very polished sake with a rice polishing ratio of 35%, the same as Ohmine's flagship 2-grain hi-iru Yamadanishiki 😌. The aroma is sweet with a hint of muscat, just like Ohmine! Like a much richer aroma than 3 grains 🤔. Now it's time to take a sip Oh! Eye-opening concentrated sweetness, a little sourness, and a clear aftertaste with no clutter! It's so good 🥳! Personally, this is the most well-balanced, yet rich sweetness I've ever tasted! It's impeccably delicious 🥰! I think this might be my favorite! I'm glad I splurged and bought it 😆.

We have finally reduced the number of sake to the point where we can drink identity. According to Mr. Kangiku, this year's Identity brewed with So-no-Mai is the best one yet 🍶. I'm looking forward to it 😋. The aroma is juicy and has the usual Kangiku taste. The sweetness in the mouth is reminiscent of tropical fruits, and it satisfies the desire for sake in a relaxed manner. It has a slightly effervescent taste that goes well with the acidity, giving it a clean and refreshing taste. As it gets closer to room temperature, the slight bubbles fade and the rice flavor expands, making it quite a favorite 😆. It was a very satisfying saké that went well with snacks ✨.

I've been indulging in a lot of Jikon lately! This time it's the Jikin again 😋✨. The aroma is subdued, with a sweet, gentle ginjo aroma reminiscent of muskmelon and white peaches. It has an elegant fruitiness that will arouse your desire for sake 😆. The taste is juicy and rich, with a rich rice flavor and sweetness that spreads in the mouth. The acidity that comes later balances it out. ☺️ It has a fresh feeling even though it is fire-roasted, and it has a lightness like orange liquor. The bitterness is almost imperceptible, and the smooth, elegant aftertaste lingers... As it gets to room temperature, the umami of rice and soft acidity harmonize, and it becomes more tender and gentle on the palate. It is a beautiful sake that would go well with autumn flavors 😋.

After the Jikin, I drank the Katsuma Junmai Sake! Off topic, but I recently bought a Lemacom freezer checker, and I guess it was a defective one, because my sake froze even though the setting was at its lowest 😭 (I didn't touch the quick-freeze button). I came to Starbucks🍶 in Kawagoe to drink some Katsuma to ease my heartbreak, and to my surprise, there was only one bottle of Katsuma Junmai Ginjo! I had no choice but to buy it! I had to buy it! It was exceptional! It has a clear, clear flavor with no cloying taste and a smooth mouthfeel. It's not too flashy, but elegant and well-balanced, a beautiful sake that I could drink every day and never get tired of it ✨. When served cold, the taste of the rice is tight and balanced. As it reaches room temperature, the rice flavor expands and the umami sweetness peaks 🥳. I hope you all take care of the quality control of your sake so you don't end up like me 😇.

This time I came to drink Junmai Daiginjo Nabari which I missed in the lottery 😆. 4 bottles drawn... I'll save my points for next time 😭 I ordered this sake because I wanted to try it even though it is quite expensive at 1,300 yen for 60ml! The aroma is more mellow and fruity than the Jikkomai we usually drink, and our expectations are high 😋. When you put it in your mouth, the moderate sweetness and juiciness spread in your mouth, and the drinkability that goes well with food stands out! This is delicious! It is sweet and delicious, but not too sweet, with just the right balance between the moderate sweetness and the umami of the rice that gives it a boost! I'll have to win it next year!

I was curious about the label because it was so oceanic, so I bought it! I found out that the label was designed by Kyoto Women's University 🤔. It is made with Association 77 yeast, which is a high malic acid producing yeast, and has a sweet aroma of apples and lychee-like flavor. When you take a sip, the sweetness spreads in your mouth, not as much as the flavor, and then the sourness passes 😋. It is truly "sweet and sour", but the freshness combined with the slight effervescence makes it a delicious sake that is not sake in the good sense of the word! Even my wife, who is not a fan of sake, praised sake for the first time, saying "this is delicious" 🥳. I would recommend this sake to those who are new to sake and to those who don't drink much.

I'll have a third bottle of Shinsei Viridian ✨. This store always keeps 3-4 bottles of Shinsei on hand, which helps when I have a seizure 😋. The aroma is fruity with a hint of melon and just a hint of wood vat brewing! The taste is lighter, fresher and more acidic than the aroma, with a pleasant sharpness in the mouth 🥳. I personally feel that it is more of a food wine than a sake to be enjoyed on its own. When I think about it, all of the sakes we drank this time were all delicious food wine type sakes 🍶.

The second bottle is Shinshu Kamerei Hitogokochi. The aroma is mild, with hints of sweet nuances like caramel and melon. The first sip reveals both a full flavor and a light mouthfeel, with an elegant sweetness like that of wasanbon (a type of Japanese sweetener). The aftertaste is crisp, with a slight dry dryness that keeps you from getting tired of drinking this delicious sake. Compared to other Jikin, it's more about the rice flavor rather than the sweetness and umami, so it's quite good as a food sake! I haven't seen Shizenigo in a while, so I bought it. It's one of the best sake that I've been captivated by since my last visit to Fukushima 🍶. I immediately took a sip 😋. It has a nice crispness in the mouth, and fruity aromas of muscat and green apple penetrate through the nose. The soft sweetness and crisp acidity are well balanced, making it a delicious sake that can be enjoyed on its own or as a mealtime drink. ☺️ This time I paired it with scallops and cod roe bruschetta and overcooked negitoro (green onion toro) 😌. Fukushima sake is delicious!

The fifth bottle is Kutouryu Junmai Sake I forgot to take a picture of the label on the back. It is dry but easy to drink like Harushika Super Dry Sake. My memory of the taste is a little fuzzy from this point on! But it was still a delicious Kutouryuu.
