Mini tastings, still to come💦. It's a drinking comparison of the Kamikai... 💦. Junmai Ginbuki Hiyoshi Oroshi Akatombo 　Shiga Prefecture, Ginfukiyuki 60% polished rice, 15 degrees. The aroma is fruity and the taste is classic. The taste is somewhere between modern and classic. Junmai Ginjo il tuono d'autunno (autumn thunder) 　Shiga Prefecture, Ginbuki 55% polished rice, 16%. Fruity and sweet, this is a perfect modern type. Fully matured Junmai Ikinatsu Koshi Sanma 　A blend of 80% 2016 Yamahai Yamadanishiki and 20% 2019 Koshihikari 70% polished rice 17%. I was too scared to drink this one as is🤣. It was sweet and delicious when heated! It had a classic flavor.

Here is another brand new to me, Kamikai from Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. The light pink label is impressive, but it does not appear to be a spring sake. It has a refreshing mouthfeel with gentle sweetness and acidity, and the umami is well balanced. It has a moderately dry taste and a bitter aftertaste, making it a good match with pizza. I have been exploring new brands lately, and this one was right up my alley.

deep sea Slightly sweet mouthfeel. Woody and grassy aroma penetrates the nose. Faintly foamy numbness. Astringent and refreshing on the palate. Slightly bitter taste. Taste of new sake. Purchased at a sake brewery. The area of Koka City with its fields and residential areas. The sake bottles are lined up in a showcase at the entrance of the office, with three bottles of new sake on the outside for show. I had to buy them because they were next to two bottles with cool labels. I apologize for being so busy. New sake is ready! Postscript When heated, the bitterness disappears and the sweetness is very strong. However, it is not too strong. Very tasty.

Sake degree -1 Acidity 1.8 Amino acidity Yeast No.35 This is the first sake from Kyoto in a long time. The cute label features an illustration of Lord Thunder trying to fish out a ukulele. It has a firm umami, round and soft sweetness and acidity.

Purchased at Takatsu with Laughing Four Seasons. I picked it up because of the cute label💕 Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 10 degrees Celsius Second fermentation in the bottle, but with a hole in the stopper, it didn't spurt at all 🫧. Fruity aroma, shwashy 🫧. Sour and bitter, like grapefruit, delicious! When the temperature goes up a bit, the sweetness comes out. It's a sandesi, so it was gone in no time 😆. This brewery often uses Otsu-e for their labels, and this sake has the third one, "Nabekanmuri", painted by Kozo Ando. This guy also drew the label for Hakurei's Vivid series: 🖌️ The taste matched the illustration 🤝. There are also the first and second daughters of this sake on the back label, Actually, the third daughter is the most mature, as the youngest daughter should be. The third sister is actually the most mature. How about three sisters? How about three sisters?

I feel like I haven't had that kind of drink lately even though I'm a member 🫶(in charge of public relations) of the Kinky Sake Lover's Association, so here it is 😌. I had a good impression of this sake when I drank it at a brewery opening event in Shiga, so I was going to buy it but missed the timing. It seems to be a sake inspired by the garlic mashimashi of Jiro ramen. Purchased at Mitsuboshi on my first visit. It is within walking distance from Osaka Metro Nagahara Station. I hear it's a restaurant that Sake Run-san frequents as well 😁. The brands they carry are Shinkai, Hyakugakumon, Senzuke, Tsuchida, Kaygetsu, and sake from Nippon Meimon Sake Kai member breweries (Wakabisu, Sawanoi, Jyoku, Daishichi, Tamanboast, etc.) I have almost the same impression as Nemuchi's review 😅... A little yellow. Slightly matured sake-like aroma. Tasty mouthfeel. Rich sweetness, but with a complex flavor that is hard to describe. A sake bursting with individuality, but a little disappointed to hear that it will not be made next year 😿. A little nutty after a few days. The third photo is a retro shopping street near the liquor store. Nakayoshi Ginza. I think I might have misread it as 😅 but it was Nagayoshi Ginza.
