Hometown Sake Vol. 2
Toyo Bijin Junmai Daiginjo Princess Michiko
A refreshing mouthfeel that permeates the skin in the mouth. The sweetness is subdued, making this sake a pleasure to drink.
Since we are here, let's try some local sake. Many department stores carry a variety of sake, along with new sake. It is refreshing and crisp, with a hint of mildness and sweetness. Not much aroma.
We enjoyed it very much.
Second Cup of Saku City
Even more refreshing than the first cup of Saku no Hana. But the second sip is full of flavor. I can have as many cups as I want, oh no,
I don't take pictures at dinners, but it's been a while since I've had a drink with friends, so I snapped a few. I was told it tasted like melon, but I couldn't tell. It's a well-balanced sake, neither sharp nor smooth. It doesn't get stuck on the tongue, so it's a stable drink.
The final chapter of the drinking comparison set
The last one is Otters.
Ottersai is often served as an aperitif. Unlike the Kubota Tororo, which was used as an aperitif, this sake has a clear, silky texture and fruity aroma that makes sense for it to be used as an aperitif, and it is a sake that plays a supporting role without being too strong or assertive. The aroma is also very nice. I would drink it all at once. Be careful not to drink too much. ⚠️
The 2nd set of the "gift set" for drinking comparison
Kubota Junmai Daiginjo
The first taste of a national level that needs no explanation.
The first impression is that it is very smooth. The aroma is also very nice, so I can see why it's so popular. Second cup, what's wrong? The second cup, what's wrong? The punch and aroma are gone. It seems to have lost its depth.
A gift of Gen no Taki
At first sip, I thought the flavor was old-fashioned, but it was indeed a Junmai Daiginjo. It has a robust flavor with no cloying taste. I wonder if it has any aroma.
This is the first time I've had Yamada Nishiki from Machida Shuzo, my favorite sake brewery in Gunma. It is an iron plate. The gorgeousness is unparalleled. The soft sweetness and crisp notes are the ultimate in happiness,
Even if you open it carefully, the cork blows out lol.
The first sip was sweet, but after that, the balance is nice and crisp. The bubbles are soft and not bothersome for the sake. The aroma is also very nice.
Apparently N&S means bitterness and astringency. I was told that this sake is like drinking a glass of wine, so I bought it without hesitation. I imagined it would have a gorgeous aroma and be soft and mild, but when I opened the bottle, I didn't notice any aroma. I was surprised when I took a sip and it hit my tongue straight away. I was surprised to find that it was straight to my tongue. I see...it softens on the second day and is better on the second day.
Good evening Shin 😃
We are J&N, so I was wondering about N&S 😆 I see that it is bitter & astringent! That makes us juicy & bitter 🤗 sounds delicious 😄.
When it was explained to me that there were blue and green labels and the rice was different, I wasn't sure which was which. I was told that the blue one has a rough taste, and those words were the deciding factor in my decision to go with the blue one.
When I opened the package, I was impressed by the old-fashioned smell and thought, "This is it? I have never tasted anything that tasted even better the second day.
Machida Brewery may be the best.
Fruity but sharp and crisp.
When I opened the bottle as soon as I brought it home, bubbles poured out. It was like sparkling wine.
Akagisan, a collaboration between Higen and Ohbai, with different colors but the same label design.
This sake has a light and refreshing taste, but its aroma and weight are more typical of sake than its flamboyance.
This may be my first Tokyo sake.
It has a strong aroma, but it is not sweet, and the sharp taste comes in with a bang. It is more spicy than fruity. We enjoyed it very much.
It is the kind of sake that you drink like table wine instead of mineral water. It is not a special sake, but rather a sake that is ah, a honjozo sake,
My first sake from Settsutonda, Osaka.
Hmmm, it has no characteristics.
The first word that came to mind. The next one is easy to drink.
I wonder if there will be a next time.
Otoko no Karakuchi Akagisan Junmai Daiginjo is always sold at convenience stores in Gunma Prefecture. Junmai Daiginjos have a weak image, but this one is sharp and spicy at first, followed by a gorgeous taste. It is twice as tasty in one glass.
