I went on a ski 🗻🎿⛄ trip to Yuzawa with my wife and wanted to go out for a drink instead of eating at the hotel, so we went into town. We made reservations at a nice little restaurant and Let's Go🍶. I have a great sense of smell for bars, so I never miss out on anything! The recommended dishes were all delicious, and I couldn't resist the temptation to drink sake. We started with Gagakuyo! I drank too much, so please refer to the menu for my full impression 🤣. It's just delicious 😋! The aroma and taste are fruity with a lot of flavor, but it's clean and dry and goes perfectly with delicious food 🤩. ★★★★★

Long time no see 😃💕 Koikawa. I know the brewery is recommended for heated sake, but I'll try this one chilled. It's not fruity, but it has a good balance of rice sweetness and deep umami, nothing sharp in any way. The ultimate mellowness, I guess. I think it is the ultimate mellowness 🥰. The sharpness is similar to Tobiroki, which I drank a long time ago. It seems to go well with all kinds of food. ★★★★☆

The second drink of the New Year is another favorite AKABU! This one is also a new sake and is sure to be delicious! I was happy to compare it with Tasake 💕. This one is less fruity than the Tasake, but the sweetness from the rice flavor makes it the best ❕😀 😀. I've only had the Mutsu Hachisen Orikarami this year, but I really want to try the AKABU SNOW. But it's hard to get it 😅. ★★★★★

The first drink of the new year is my favorite sake, Tasake's special junmai sake. And if it's draft, it's sure to be delicious. Now to open the bottle. Fruity aroma, but not sweet 🍏 and full of freshness! The first sip was a bit sweet, but as we drank more, the fresh bitterness of the sake made it crisp and refreshing, and my brother and his wife and I finished it in no time at all 🤭. As always, the taste is consistent ❕❕❕❕❕. ★★★★★

The final sake of the year was Shinshu Kamerei. It's been a long time since I've tasted a fresh, sweet, fruity, fresh apple aroma, and it's delicious. The fruity sweetness in the mouth, the gasiness and acidity of the unpasteurized sake, and the sharpness make it a good match for any dish 😋. ★★★★☆

🏮 at Matsumoto's Izakaya I tried a brand I'd never tried before because it was recommended by the owner 😀. The label is cool ❕🥰. It has a tangy, gaseous taste as it is a draft sake, but there is nothing sharp about it and it goes down smoothly. It is fruity, but not too sweet, and the overall balance is good and delicious 😋. ★★★★★

It's time for nigori sake again this year! This is Mutsu Hachisen Ooragarami Nama. When the bottle is opened with a squeak, it has a sweet aroma like a ripe melon🍈. This is definitely a delicious one ❕🥰🥰. The sweetness in the mouth is not as strong as the aroma I detected earlier, but rather a fresh sweetness like the skin of a 🍈, combined with the slight gassy astringency of the raw sake, it is well-balanced and delicious ❕. It was empty in no time 😬. ★★★★★

The second cup is a big Shinshu ❕😀. The sake rice is Hitogokochi, so you can't go wrong ❕. As expected, the full aroma and sweetness fill your mouth! And yet it's not too sweet 🤩. It is beautifully crisp and delicious! I liked Hitokochiki rice the best in both Shinshu Kamerei and Yamasan, so I think it suits my taste. ★★★★☆

A restaurant I kept going to on business trips. The grilled pork skewers here are excellent 😋. Oden and Sanzokuyaki with sake 🍶. First of all, with Daisetsuken The aroma is not so strong, but the sweetness and the delicious taste of rice fill your mouth! It has a sharpness that goes well with all kinds of food. It is a perfect match for any dish.

In the same tavern 🏮. Next up was a dry sake 🍶. Not much aroma, but it's as sharp as the sake 🇯🇵 It is a sake that seems to go well with warmed sake. It has a sharpness that goes well with food 😋. It's not the current trend, but I like this kind of sake once in a while 😀. ★★★☆☆☆☆

🏮 at Matsumoto's Izakaya The restaurant I go to every time I travel on business. It has a slightly sweet taste on the palate, but even though it is a honjozo sake, you don't feel the alcohol taste at all like a junmai sake 😋. The sharpness that allows you to keep drinking it with food suits my taste 🥰. ★★★★☆

While cheering for Samurai Japan 🇯🇵 👊😄📢. Great victory over 🇹🇼 😀! Please keep up the momentum in tomorrow's final! ...but I'm sorry for the big loss on Sunday 😭⤵⤵⤵. I can only hope for the 50th anniversary of Yamahai Junmai 🤩🤩🤩🤩.... It smells so good 😆. I went fishing for flounder for a long time, so I will have it with sashimi and carpaccio. It has a sweetness and astringency like a ripe persimmon, and goes perfectly with the fatty flatfish sashimi 😋. It also drains off the olive oil when paired with the carpaccio, making it a perfect match, and I can't stop sipping it one after another 👍! Thanks to the blessings of the sea and rice 🤩. This is definitely a ★★★★★

We will have the best Kisso in a long time. 😃 The bottle is opened while cheering for Samurai JAPAN 🇯🇵 against Taiwan 🇹🇼. The first sip is a delicious mix of fresh tanginess and sweetness of the raw sake, and the second sip is a good balance of sharp sweetness and biliousness, respectively, mellowed out when mixed with the whole drink. 😀 😀 Sake that goes well when drunk with dishes with strong flavors. With sashimi, I felt the sweetness won out. 🤔 ★★★☆☆☆

A brand I've had before. When I opened the bottle, it had a fresh sweet aroma like apple, but when I sipped it, I could feel a refreshing slight sweetness and it went right in 😀. It is a delicious sake that is not too refreshing. It is not too refreshing, and even when paired with the seasonal lotus root tempura, it does not lose, but asserts its umami. Mr. Yamamoto never fails to deliver ❕🥰. ★★★★★

I've had tadpoles before, but this is the first time I've had this drink 🔰. This one seemed a bit sweeter than the other sake I drank. I think it is because of the type of sake rice ❔. I have had a sweeter experience with Kinmon-nishiki before with Shinshu Kamerei 🤔. But it might be good to drink with strong flavored dishes or at the end of a meal. ★★★☆☆☆☆
