I haven't posted for a while, but it's been a while since I was in Shinjuku, and I held a 47 prefecture sake tasting contest at Fujiki.
We started with Oita's representative, Chibijin.
It has a moderate aroma and a refreshing taste.
Due to various troubles, I bought it 10 days after the first day of spring. It was still available at Tokyu Underground where I often go, so I quickly bought it. I'm glad I could drink it again this year...
It has an image of freshness in full bloom, but it has a slightly bitter taste, which also calms the taste.
Purchased at a liquor store adjacent to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station. Goryo was not sold in Sapporo, and I had been looking for it for a long time. I finally had a chance to drink it.
It has the petitiveness of the first pressing, and the dry freshness is good. Next time I will try Junmai Daiginjo.
I received this as a gift from my wife at the beginning of this year. I don't often buy alsobe for myself, but it tastes well-rounded and easy to drink.
Purchased at Sapporo Tokyu Underground where I often go. I often drink Seiryu, but this is the first time I have had mainstream, or rather, the first time I know of its existence. It has a slightly tingling sensation and is a little sweeter than Seiryu.
Purchased in the basement of Hankyu Umeda. I was looking for an unusual sake and this was recommended to me. Is it for a gift? It's a beautiful sake, and it goes down easy!
This is quite an interesting concept sake. I bought it around November last year, I believe. I thought it was light, but it was mellow and sweet. I will buy it again when this series comes out.
I always go to Sapporo Tokyu underground to buy. They have a great selection of Eiko-Fuji, and I'm inevitably partial to it. Of course, it is delicious.
