Sharp sharpness from gentleness
Complex nose with a mix of grains and grapes. Neutral mouthfeel with gentle sweetness and minerality. The end is sharp and clean with acidity.
★★★★★
Transition of spring scene
At the opening of the mouth. A grainy, light cloudiness. A clean aroma like green bamboo. The sharp mouthfeel leads to a gentle sweetness. Later, minerality and tangy spiciness with sourness appear, and it slowly finishes with a sense of umami.
The sweet and sourness of this sake reminds one of spring. It is interesting to enjoy the change of flavors and tastes.

Fresh Soda 🥤
Mouth opening. Grain visible light cloudiness. Aroma reminiscent of soda and lactic acidity. Fresh and clear acidity from a clean mouthfeel. After that, minerality and mild umami are felt, and it finishes with a lingering bitterness.
Today is a slightly warm day. If you are wearing heavy clothes, you may feel a little sweaty. This is a good time to drink this sake. It is fresh, refreshing, and crisp. This is the best sake to drink in the spring when the weather is warming up.
★★★★★
sweet and beautiful current
A clean aroma reminiscent of green bamboo and cotton. The mouthfeel is both sharp and mellow, and a gentle sweetness develops. After a hint of sweetness reminiscent of white sugar and honey, it finishes with a spicy and sour taste, followed by a sweet and umami taste.
While showing a variety of sweetness, spiciness, and umami, it is a beautiful sake with a clear and transparent taste.
Purchased on a trip to Yamagata at the Gansen Bishu Abe Sake Shop near Sakata Station. Among the many rare Yamagata sake selections, this is the one I selected.

Good evening, Mr. Gallus!
Very nice review and it looks delicious 🤤.
I also found and got it when I was looking for a Snow Goddess sake 🎵
I'm looking forward to drinking it even more now✨
It will be great to sip with the memories of my trip to Yamagata 😊.
raisin
Aroma reminiscent of grape-like sweetness. The sharp mouthfeel gives a sense of minerality. While maintaining the same impression, it has a slightly mellow flavor and is crisp and clean.
The aroma is sweet and the taste is dry. An orthodox impression.
★★★★
fleeting thaw
The aroma is reminiscent of lychee and cemedine-like sweetness. In the mouth, after a sense of transparency, a gentle sweetness comes with a slight delay, swelling slightly. The hint of aroma reminds us of gorgeous sweetness and malted rice, and then it quickly snaps.
Overall, it is a delicate sake with a mature impression, but with a unique sweetness and aroma. I would like to pair it with cheese with honey.
★★★★★
become tight
The top aroma reminds us of slightly ripe fruit sweetness, such as gorgeous banana and mango. The sharp mouthfeel reveals minerality and bitterness, and without much hint of incense, the wine is crisp and pungent.
In contrast to the gorgeous top, the hard taste is surprising. Therefore, it is likely to be a sake that can be easily matched with food. It has a taste that I like.
★★★★★
Pineapple Cocktail🍸.
Pineapple-like aroma with a hint of sweetness. The neutral palate is filled with sweetness and pineapple-like aroma. The second half is tangy and pungent, then slowly finishes with a delicious flavor.
Aromatic and full of pineapple. It would be a perfect summer drink at a bar with a view of the ocean.
Tagaji is my first Okayama sake in a long time. It was a gift from a retiree who knew I liked this brand.

Good evening, Mr. Gallus.
What a wonderful relationship to have a retirement gift of your favorite brand of alcohol, Mr. Gallus ✨.
Here is a very chic bottle with a very glamorous looking review that looks delicious😊.
Hi Gallus 😃
Thanks for your Tohoku - Hokkaido trip 😌I will use it as a reference for my post-retirement couple drinking train trip 🚞🤗It's been a while since I had a drink in Okayama 😚 It's going to be a relief to sink in!
Jay & Nobby, winter is good, but I also wanted to see the paddy fields when the rice is beautiful. This time I think I understand more about the individuality of Okayama sake 😀.
Bananas showing various expressions
Complex aroma reminiscent of banana, herbs, and malted rice. From a clean mouthfeel, a fresh and mild banana-like sweetness spreads with a gaseous sensation. The finish is smooth with a mellow impression.
Served at KEG. The taste retains the freshness of the unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. A sake that allows you to enjoy its complexity.
★★★★★
Premium Bananas
The aroma is reminiscent of young banana-like sweetness. A clean mouthfeel reveals sharp acidity and elegant sweetness. The alcoholic overtone rises, followed by a sharp acidity that finishes off with a sharp acidity.
This sake is characterized by sharpness and banana feeling. Elegant and delicious 😋.

Congratulations on your 700 check-in, Mr. Gallus 🎊 Good to be a Kiri number with fine sake from Kamikawa Taisetsu 😋 I look forward to working with you again this year 🙇.
Good evening, Mr. Gallus 😃.
Congratulations on your 700 check-in ㊗️㊗️㊗️㊗️㊗️㊗️㊗️ with a fine banana🍌 sake in the middle of 6 consecutive heavy snowfalls in Kamikawa 🎉Good drink with your feet on the ground🤗.
Thank you Jay & Nobby 😊This sake was not conscious of my own Kiri number, but it was a good choice in Hokkaido 😁It was a good experience to compare drinks while asking about the brewery and sake from the store owner 😆.
Rubus buergeri (species of raspberry)
At room temperature. The aroma evokes a gentle strawberry-like sweet and sour taste. The mild mouthfeel is followed by a fragrance reminiscent of gorgeous sweetness, and a firm umami flavor. It finishes with a lingering sweetness that finishes off nicely.
Enjoy the gorgeous aroma of this sake.
★★★★★
Mellow banana
From the mellow mouthfeel, it has an elegant sweet flavor. The banana-like overtone rises and finishes cleanly with a sense of transparency.
A delicious saké with mellowness and refinement. I decided to buy this one and take it home.
★★★★★
balanced strawberry
The nose evokes a mild sweetness. Neutral mouthfeel gives way to sweet and sour tones. A hint of pear-like aroma rises, and then it finishes with a tangy and pungent taste.
The Tokachi brand has been in existence for 5 years, including the brewery, and appears to have been launched with great effort.
★★★★
Rubus hirsutus (species of raspberry)
The aroma is reminiscent of sweet and sour tastes like strawberries. The mouthfeel is clean and refreshing, with a gentle sweetness that fills the mouth. The same hint of fragrance rises as the top shelf and finishes with a lingering sweetness.
Tasting at a sake brewery's antenna store. I finally got to drink sake from a popular Hokkaido brewery.
★★★★★
round-pointed kiri (Bungarus fasciatus)
The aroma is reminiscent of sweetness, as if sugar has been boiled down. The palate is neutral, with a mild sweetness. From there, a clear acidity emerges. The latter half of the wine is smooth and crisp with a lingering acidic aftertaste.
The sweetness is balanced by the acidity, and the crispness allows the sake to be enjoyed without being sticky. The freeze-dried salted fish and edamame (green soybeans) as snacks are excellent with their rich salty and umami flavors. I didn't know you could eat dried salted fish. I should have bought more.
The fourth (and final) day of drinking. Four-hour train ride from Hakodate to Sapporo. The train was shaking so much that I was afraid the cups and bottles would fall off the table. It was difficult to drink calmly.
★★★★★
apple nectar
Pale, apple-like sweet and sour aroma. From the mellow mouthfeel, the sweetness and aroma of apple nectar spreads. The second half is tangy and pungent, and the sweetness converges and sharpens with clarity.
Yamada-Nishiki and No. 9 yeast are an iron plate combination. It has a firm sweetness and is best served with apple jelly.
The third day of drinking. On the Shinkansen from Aomori to Hakodate.
★★★★
Good evening, Mr. Gallus 😃.
Shirako and Toyobai! I was looking at how good it looks and before I knew it, I was on my way to Hokkaido and now I want to refer to the izakaya 🏮 Shinkansen ‼️ travel route 🤗.
Clear Classic
Mild aroma. The crisp mouthfeel opens up to a classic, ripe, sweet flavor. After that, it turns to transparency and is smooth and crisp.
The first half of the sake is heavy, but the sharpness of the second half makes it a perfect match for a cup of sake. Serve with sake-kasu-jiru (sake lees soup). It will warm you up.
A very good wine.
mild apple
Aroma reminiscent of gentle apple sweetness. The mild mouthfeel is followed by a clear sweetness. After that, a full-bodied flavor gradually appears, and it quickly finishes with an apple-like aroma.
It has an apple-like aroma that makes one strongly aware of Aomori. Aromatic and easy to drink.
At Yugiri, a popular sake bar. With a delicious seafood course. The steamed albacore was excellent and matched well with the food.
★★★★
Rich but sharp sharpness
The aroma is reminiscent of the richness of brandy. The rich flavor spreads from a clean mouthfeel. The aroma has hints of ripe apples, and it finishes sharply with a simple acidity.
The transition from the rich impression in the beginning to the simplicity in the latter half is interesting. It matches the sweet and salty taste of tasake takuan (radish). It is also a good match for oden with ginger on top. There is no way that they do not go well together.
