Purchased at Hankyu Department Store's traveling SAKE. It has a gentle taste with a sweet flavor that comes in the latter half of the bottle. It has a spicy taste, but it also has a fresh fruitiness. I also tasted Omachi, but Yumesasara was definitely my favorite. On the third day, the impression of sweetness and acidity became stronger.

Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. After drinking Kiyokai nigori, it was getting crowded, so I left once and returned when it was empty. We compared Yumesasara and Omachi. I had a preconceived notion that Omachi would be tastier, but I found Omachi to be too strong and subtle. Yumesasara was delicious, so I bought it.

The aroma is gorgeous and pear-like 😊The rounded mouthfeel, overall mild acidity and umami 😄Great crispness that disappears quickly 😘I felt it was an easy sake to pair with a meal 🥳. The last picture is of the Japanese garden next to Himeji Castle. It was very beautiful and relaxing 🥰.

I don't know much about wine, but I thought the color was vaguely reminiscent of something you would find in wine 🍷. The taste is a mixture of sweetness like ripe apples 🍎 and a good amount of umami. The wine is very smooth with a slight acidity at the end 🤗.

At home. The third Nara sake without permission - ‼️. Kita Sake Brewery is located in Gobo-cho, Kashihara City and was founded in 1718. My son used to play baseball and we used to go to Sato Yakuhin Stadium near here. This is the first time for us to visit there. The aroma is not so strong, but there is a slight sweetness and alcohol. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sweetness, sourness, dryness, and the gradual feeling of alcohol. Oh, is this the ultimate in dryness? For now, I will only taste it tonight and wait for tomorrow to see how it changes. There was almost no change in taste after the second day. It is dry, but it has a sweet taste and is not unacceptable.

Miyogiku is a sake brewery located near Kashihara Shrine. I bought a Junmai sake and this Honjozo sake. It has a very high density of flavor and richness even in hiya, and the acidity is enough to go well with the drinks! It is also very well balanced in terms of both comfort and drinkability! It is even better when heated! This is wonderful! I bought a small bottle the day before because I had to buy a lot of things at Ise Jingu Shrine, but I want to buy another 4 bottles! Before going to the Kashihara Shrine, we went around the tombs around the shrine, and especially the Unebiyama Northeast Mausoleum was amazing! It was scary! Furthermore, although I must have been to Kashihara Shrine when I was a child, it looks bigger than the image I had when I was a child. Normally it should look smaller than it did when I was a child, but it was the opposite. I guess I felt the greatness of Kashihara Shrine.

It's a tag-team sake from Kadoden Brewery, which is also known as a metamorphosis of rice, and Hagino Brewery, which is known as one of the best sweet and sour brewers in Miyagi Prefecture. While the heady aroma is modest, the tangy gassiness gives the sake a strong umami presence. The sweetness and acidity typical of Hagino Brewery are also present. It is covered with lees and is very satisfying to drink! It is a dangerous sake with a sharpness that makes it easy to drink. Please don't abuse it. I was there just two and a half months ago, so I missed it a lot! Once again, Kamakura is a wonderful place! I bought this Wakaba unfiltered sake in the summer and felt it was still young, so I let it sleep in the closet. It has a good balance of flavor, with the punch of unfiltered sake, but without losing the simple country feel of Wakaba. I put it in the closet again, but it was good enough. It's not Wakaba, but Higuchi Shinyo, a triple axel that is anything but rustic! The ROC is still very difficult, but I hope the Japanese will do their best to get on the podium!

The fourth one is Nechi-Osan. This is my first time to visit this brewery. I always thought it was "KONCHI". Sorry locals! The taste of rice is well expressed, but the overall taste is clean and dry. The aftertaste is a bit peculiar, but it is good in its own way. Thank you!

OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳ Lastly, we went to the Komatsuya booth again. Nechi from Nechiozan, which is not seen very often. There were many different rice varieties, but we chose the Koshitanrei 1st class rice 2020. Nechi is only available at authorized dealers. It was easy to drink with a beautiful taste and a hint of sweetness. The review of this event was a bit of a mess, so please refer to Nechi's post later on 🤣.
