The 36th sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture. This is one of the main brands of Watanabe Sake Brewery in Ogaki City. It is brewed by the only female toji in Gifu Prefecture. It is made from 100% Gifu Prefecture's specially grown Hatsushimo rice. Purchased at an Aeon liquor store in Kakamigahara City. The aroma is similar to yogurt. I bought it at Tsunoka Shoten, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. The nearest stations are Keihan Sumizome Station, Keihan Fujimori Station, or JR Fujimori Station. The brands available include Miyakotsuru, Tamagawa, Yaetsuru, Shirakikyu, Kumi no Ura, Jinzo, Yosamusume, Haginoroh, Roppo (from Kirakucho's brewery), Wakabisu, Joyo, Honohana (from Wakamiya Shuzo), and sake from the Meimon Sake Association. In addition, there were a few PB-like products that were only available at sake dealers' associations and unions. They were sake made by Eikun and Tsuki no Katsura. There were two kinds of sake, both fruity, so I chose 1801. It was not very fragrant for an aromatic yeast, but it was voluptuous and sweet. It was a bit similar to the Yatagarasu I drank before. I wonder if it tastes like this when you make a sweet sake with Koshihikari. It tastes a little cloying and messy...

Chiyoroku given to me by a friend. It's my first time 🙌 It's a junmai daiginjo, but it's so refreshing and easy to drink 😆. It has a moderate sweetness and a slight bitterness with a nice sharpness. The alcohol content is 16%, but you don't feel it at all😅. It was a very light summer sake 😆.

There are only two sake rice study groups left. I've been posting them chippy-chippy, so my notes and my memory are no longer connected. But there is no doubt that they were delicious. The ninth bottle was Kami no Ho from Mie Prefecture. The first bottle was a Saku no Kami no Hoho, which got me hooked on sake rice, but it tasted completely different. The aroma is banana, I guess. It has a slightly sweet taste with a refreshing dryness from the microbubbles. It goes on and on... a never-ending type of sake. The next post should be the last in this study of sake rice.
