It's my first time to drink Hakuin Masamune. It's a sake I've never had the chance to drink before. I've been drinking a lot of sweet and sour sake lately, so I thought I'd try some dry sake. Danrei Dry. It has a moderate aroma and is dry enough to drink with a meal.

Ikebukuro with friends on Wednesday. It was not an all-you-can-drink party. Sake was my friend's choice as we sunk into the sake swamp. It was my first Hakuba Nishiki. Nice choice. It tasted like it would be ranked high in the Nigorin picks. It was fresh, fruity, sweet and refreshing. The upper half of the label is European and the lower half is Japanese, which gives it a Showa-era feel.

I tasted it during the New Year holidays. I thought it was arabashiri, but the staff mistakenly put shiboritate in it 🤣. It was fresh and easy to drink even though it had been fired once.

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.

This is the Ageha no Mai Junmai Sake Gin no Sato. It is a sweet and delicious sake with a mild fruity aroma and a refreshing taste.

The smell is slightly alcoholic, with a hint of grapes when stirred. Taste is thick and juicy on the tongue, and the fruitiness quickly fades from the rice flavor, leaving a bitter aftertaste. The bitterness lingers for a long time. It is as if it is expressing the feeling of drinking the wine with the sound of "chiri-chiri-chiri-kuchi-kuchi-soon. There is no gassy feeling. Delicious with yatsuhashi.

Next was a Hiroshima sake called HANAHATO. It is a junmai ginjo made from 100% Senbon-Nishiki. The label is a rabbit, the Chinese zodiac sign for the New Year. Actually, this and the next brand were given to me by another business partner. We met next to each other at a meeting, drank together at the dinner table, talked about sake, and had a great time. We are also regular customers of Gin no Sake Kibune, and we receive items purchased from there every time we visit. m(_ _)m The taste is soft and sweet. The taste is soft sweetness with a hint of umami on top. It is a beautiful tasting food sake. Everyone drank it with smiling faces. It was delicious! (^O^)

This sake was created by the young successor of the brewery, who wanted to make a light and easy-to-drink sake. He was trained at Akebono Shuzo in Tenmei. Expectations are high 😊. [I like it, ferry 😆 ] I've had a couple of sake from Watarifune so far, and they're usually good 😋, with a nice balance of umami and bitterness from the gentle sweetness. I think Naminoe is a rare brand that you don't see much in Tokyo. I bought it for the first time, and I got the impression that it is moderately sweet and refreshing. The aroma in the background is a fresh melon candy type. It is more suitable for simmered dishes than sashimi👍.

Kashima Shrine, Ikisu Shrine, Katori Shrine I visited and bought from the three shrines of Eastern Japan! This time we got Katori! Junmai Natural Sake 80 I've never tasted sake like this before! I'm late to the party, but I'll be there❣️. This is a lightly nigorized version of another brand of Nara Kashiba's famous sake "Okura", Kinko❗️. I'm not sure what to make of it. I love the sizzling, crisp, refreshing taste of the active nigori 😆. I like both Okura and Kintsugi because they have their own unique 🥰 I'd like to enjoy it again soon ( ˊ̱˂˂ˋ̱ )

I was wondering if I should post this as it was given to me at a tasting, but as a record. It said it was mizu-hashiroshi brewed, but I wonder if this acidity is a feature. The best thing was that I met a sake with a strong impact and that the proprietress remembered my name ✌️.
