Ikebukuro with friends on Wednesday. It was not an all-you-can-drink party.
Sake was my friend's choice as we sunk into the sake swamp.
It was my first Hakuba Nishiki. Nice choice.
It tasted like it would be ranked high in the Nigorin picks. It was fresh, fruity, sweet and refreshing.
The upper half of the label is European and the lower half is Japanese, which gives it a Showa-era feel.
