OSAKA-JO SAKE SQUARE 2023(´¦) Very sharp and refreshing, a dry sake with a thick body that is not light. A junmai sake that tastes great chilled. Drinking continues at Don Chaya 🕺. We emptied the weird "Haneya", followed by another round 🍶. We chose our first brand that we could see in the cellar✨ First "Kame no Ou Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate" 🎉. Not much in the way of aroma, but a clean sweetness on the palate, with a pleasantly sharp and sweet [Kame-no-o] lingering finish! I found out later that they revived Kame-no-o and used this episode as a model for Natsuko's Sake, so in a sense, they are the pioneer of Kame-no-o 😁.

Purchased at a liquor store in Nakazaki-cho after an event at Ogimachi Park with Nemuchi The design looks like something you'd find in a bottle at an izakaya 😅. Normally I wouldn't pass it up, but I thought it looked unusual and bought it. It's been a year since it was made, but I don't feel it's aged too long. It is light, refreshing and easy to drink.

Type: junmai daiginjo, rice polishing rate: 50%, alc.: 16% Floral aroma, vanilla, marshmallow and a little bit of savoury aroma. Flavor feels dry with sharp acidity and bitterness of alcohol. Earthy flavor lingers for a while. Not too good not too bad. Decent price here in Europe.

On graduation day, we all drank together.
