I went camping in Chiba. I knew I could only find local sake in my hometown, so I went to Odoya, a local supermarket near the site! After much deliberation, I bought a bottle of Chiba sake. I was able to enjoy it while camping out in the gusty wind 🍶 and found one I would like to drink again.
As the label says, it is a mellow, drinkable, yet easy-drinking and dangerous sake.
(Brewer's alcohol is added and the alcohol content is 20 degrees.)
It went well with oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl) at room temperature.
Mild mouthfeel.
At first sip, you wonder if it is a mature sake. Contrary to my expectations, it is tangy and spicy on the throat, and then the aroma rises.
My favorite sake.
I heard that "Kotobuki" was named "Kotobuki Mankame" after "Kotobuki," which means "longevity" in Japanese, and "Man" and "Turtle" from the old saying, "A crane lives for a thousand years, and a turtle lives for ten thousand years.
It has a smooth, light, but somewhat full-bodied dry taste. It is easy to drink, but the umami that lingers afterward is quite strong. It is rather a sake to enjoy the aftertaste.
Umakuchi yamoromi sake
I felt I got drunk faster than usual, so I checked it later and found that it has alcohol content of 20 degrees 😱 and brewer's alcohol. I'll be careful.
First time in a long time to visit Tateyama with my family.
At a roadside station, we bought a cup of local Chiba sake!
The name "Kotobuki Mangame" is a very auspicious name!
The sake was fresh and delicious!
