Purchased at a local supermarket I didn't have such high expectations, but it has a fresh, fruity flavor with a strong umami. It also has a nice sharpness. It was a cosy evening sake. ❗️

Another bottle was opened at the Kizuna Festival. Golden crystal that saw the light of day at Izakaya Shinkansen. Gold Crystal label expressed with a characteristic figure. It is one of my personal favorite labels. The top-tasting aroma has a very classical sake flavor. The mouthfeel has a light umami from a hint of sweetness. First contact is lighter than expected. The finish is again full of sake-like aftertaste, with a mild acidity and a strong bitterness. I had imagined it to be a more mellow and stand-alone sake, but it is considered to be a high performance food sake. During the festival, I served it with tempura and dried scallops that I bought and brought with me, and it was quite good! Thanks for the food!

Tonight I'm having this one 🍶. I got this on my trip to Fukushima last month! I've been wanting to drink this since I saw it on Izakaya Shinkansen 🍶✨. They are the only sake brewery in Fukushima city😃. Mellow, refreshing, oicy❕. The aroma is slightly fluffy 💠. Slightly crisp but still mild 🌸🍶✨. This is a great one ❕. I'm glad I found you 😆. I also love the fukushima saké💗. It's very tasty.

Drinking outside after work. My wife was off work and we decided to have dinner outside. We found this restaurant in the vicinity of Nara Station - ‼️ We couldn't find a good time to drink at Toyoshuku, so we went to this restaurant and had a glass of Nara's local sake, Shirotoroku (‼️). The aroma was gorgeous, the taste was smooth and sweet on the palate, and the finish was refreshing.

It arrived just a few minutes ago. This morning, the sake was pressed early in the morning. It seems I forgot to buy it last year, but this year I reserved it and bought it. I couldn't stand it, so I had a cup in my inoguchi. I love Tomikunishiki, but this year's Risshun morning pressing has a little acidity, a clean throat, and not much of an aftertaste. It's delicious!

I went to the Tomikunishiki New Sake Festival yesterday and today. I bought a bottle of Shiboritate and sake lees this year too. I opened the bottle right away. This year's Shiboritate seems to be more fruity than usual. It's delicious. I love Tomihunishiki after all❤️.

It's not Soujitchantan 😙. According to the explanation of the department store staff, the rice is Sakonishiki. It has a unique and distinctive aroma like herbs. It has a fresh and crisp taste. Finishes with a tangy bitterness. I don't know if it is a summer sake or not, but it has a refreshing taste and is suitable for summer. I tasted and bought it on the same day as Kessen Sekigahara and Aoi Tenga, but Soumai was the only one that gave me the same impression when I tasted it and drank it at home 🤔. What a relief😅

The sake is of 90% polishing ratio. A very bubbly sake with fragrance of white flower, white peach and apple. The texture is light, with flavours of grapes and pear, also tasted sour. Not much umami but it gets more alcoholic flavor when it gets warmer. Best if drink chilled.

In the fall of 2023, I ordered Ken Aizan, and for one reason or another, when I first tasted it a year later, I was surprised by its flavor and taste. When I learned last month that Ken-Aizan was being shipped again, I immediately pre-ordered. Once again, the flavors are wonderfully complex, the body is very well balanced, the bubbles are subdued, and it is an excellent match for meat dishes and curries. Considering the price and difficulty of obtaining this sake, I believe it is not at all inferior to Sansho's Kako and will certainly be a repeat purchase.

I went on a business trip to Aomori the other day and brought this as a souvenir. I vaguely matched it with squid or tuna. I thought it was probably a local luxury sake. It was a very tasty and elegant sake.

The mild taste makes it easy to drink. The aroma that lingers in the nose afterward is gorgeous but not habitual, so it can be enjoyed with sashimi and other ingredients without interfering with their flavors. I enjoyed it with Hachinohe mackerel pâté. It was a good combination.

Purchased at a liquor store in Nakazaki-cho after an event at Ogimachi Park with Nemuchi The design looks like something you'd find in a bottle at an izakaya 😅. Normally I wouldn't pass it up, but I thought it looked unusual and bought it. It's been a year since it was made, but I don't feel it's aged too long. It is light, refreshing and easy to drink.

Type: junmai daiginjo, rice polishing rate: 50%, alc.: 16% Floral aroma, vanilla, marshmallow and a little bit of savoury aroma. Flavor feels dry with sharp acidity and bitterness of alcohol. Earthy flavor lingers for a while. Not too good not too bad. Decent price here in Europe.

Drinks consumed at the lunch buffet I had the impression that it had been available in all restaurants for a long time. The taste was "safe". Low alcohol content, no peculiarities Good for lunchtime drinking.
