A crop I've never had before.

Since it was a gloomy day, I started with the spicy one.
It is spicier than the other spicy ones, just because it has a "super" rating. It is easy to drink.

Back in Okayama, we went shopping at a local supermarket, Every. They have a full lineup of sake made from Omachi rice.
I bought this reasonably priced but seasonal sake for my evening drink, which was quickly consumed.
It has a gentle taste and I never get tired of drinking it.
Fuji in Ehime?
According to the Internet, "The sake "Kofuji" is named after "Iyo-no-Kofuji," an island off the coast of Matsuyama, which can be seen from the brewery in the distance.
Compared to Eikan, it tastes more like a dry sake, with a clean, stripped-down flavor that goes well with meals.
We have entered Shikoku.
After passing through Kurushima and Imabari, we stayed in Toon, Ehime.
At the inn, we were asked whether we wanted Ehime or Toon sake, and were given a choice of Toon sake (not included in the price) or Ehime sake, so I continued to have one sake from Shikokuchuo City.
I continued with the sake from Shikokuchuo City, which was dry, but had a sweetness to it.

We returned to the inn and drank in the room with sake we had bought along the way.

I am now on the island of Imabari.
I am very excited to see shipbuilding sites and ships here and there, although from a distance 🚢.
We went to a local izakaya that mainly serves fish.
When we asked for sake, we were asked if we wanted the local Imabari sake or the Tohoku sake. Do you want Tohoku sake? I had no hesitation and ordered two gos of Imabari sake.
I was a little drunk, and the brand name was ambiguous, but I got a sake that seemed slightly dry.
Tomorrow I will land in Shikoku 🏝️.

I bought 100% Omachi rice.
I was happy to be able to buy it easily at the supermarket 🍶.
It was a little sweet, but I chilled it and had it with dinner.
The last event of the trip was a visit to the Nichinichi Brewery store, but it was not open, so I had to ask for some food at the station for the Shinkansen on the way home.
I had dismissed the idea of a cup of sake as a drinker, but I bought one.
I saw this yellow cherry blossom at Kyoto station. I picked it up with a nostalgic memory of an animated kappa commercial I had seen as a child. My first yellow cherry blossom.
Next time, I wanted to drink Kizakura seriously. It is somewhat indigestible in a cup 🍶.
I left my first Mimuro cedar for the end of the meal, but it was sold out.
I had the recommended Ichibakusuisei. I was lucky to find it because I had enjoyed it at another bar before.
I guess I'll have to put off enjoying the Mimuro Sugi.
I now know that Aizan is a sake rice.
I wonder if it would help sales if the other sake brands were also labeled with the sake rice, or is there a reason why this is not possible?
