This sake is brewed by Umeshiki Yamakawa, a subsidiary of the major sake maker Hakutsuru Shuzo. In recent years, Hakutsuru Shuzo has purchased a number of breweries from across Japan. The Aomori-based brewer Momokawa, which uses Hakutsuru Nishiki, is also a subsidiary company of Hakutsuru Shuzo. Not much of an aroma, slight whiff of alcohol. Dry, watery and clean on the palate, with little umami and a slight alu taste. After drinking it, it has a light throat feeling with a faint sweetness. It is a standard shokuchu sake. For the snacks, we had stewed kalbi and root vegetables, mussel pickled in soy sauce, chili bonito sakutome, and baby star ramen with the flavor of kondashi. It goes best with sakabuto, which enhances its sweetness.

Nagurayama Shuzo's Aizu Shikon is brewed in Aizu Wakamatsu City. Although there is a tangy alcoholic stimulation when the sake is first served cold, it has a good balance of sweet, spicy, and bitter tastes, and as the temperature rises, the sweet and umami tastes come out later on. This is a refreshing, yet rich and powerful sake! This is a new brand that was just born 2 years ago, so we will continue to follow it 😋.

This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.

This is the third bottle of the owner's choice. This is the first one I've seen. I have no prior knowledge of this one, so I'm looking forward to this one too 😙. Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 16%. 100% Kinmon-Nishiki is used. Memory fails me, but this is probably the first time I've tasted Kinmonnishiki💦. Melon aroma and elegant sweetness. Hankyu Oasis in the basement of Hankyu Sannomiya Station has a full lineup of Japanese sake, including draft sake, 300ml and cup sake. Surprisingly, it is easy to drink. Takashimaya limited edition sake! It's a gift 😄. The sharp acidity from the very slight acidity lasts for a long time. It has a nice sharpness that disappears quickly 😆.
