The aroma is fruity and the taste is classic. The taste is somewhere between modern and classic. Junmai Ginjo il tuono d'autunno (autumn thunder) 　Shiga Prefecture, Ginbuki 55% polished rice, 16%. Fruity and sweet, this is a perfect modern type. Fully matured Junmai Ikinatsu Koshi Sanma 　A blend of 80% 2016 Yamahai Yamadanishiki and 20% 2019 Koshihikari 70% polished rice 17%. I was too scared to drink this one as is🤣. It was sweet and delicious when heated! It had a classic flavor.

Today I went shopping in town with the kids: 🛍️ We casually stopped by 3coins and saw some Sake 😳.... Recently, KALDI and Chateraise have been carrying them too...so I'm wondering if Sake is becoming popular 🤔. Although... sake at Chateraise is still new to me 💦. So I bought some from 3coins to try ✨. This one seems to be from a sake brewery in Nagasaki, but it's a first for me 😁. When you open the bottle, the aroma is not very strong. A sip from...‼️ It has an apple-like sweetness, so it's not hard to drink at first, but the alcohol taste that comes right away is a bit habitual 💧. I think it leaves a little aftertaste too😅.

I slipped into a restaurant called Kanda Ogawamachi, Ojika-cho, Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture, for my second cup. Since we had limited time, we went for the Junmai Ginjo. Rooster Yoemon from Kawamura Sake Brewery in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This sake is famous for its sour taste, which is rare in Iwate Prefecture. I drank it for the first time at a store in Hanamaki and was surprised by the sourness. It seemed to be quite a challenge since Iwate is generally known for its sweet and tasty sake. Even so, I heard that the owner stubbornly continued to make sour sake. (^○^) Nowadays, with the Shinsai boom, Yoemon's sour sake is also selling well, especially outside of the prefecture. Tonight, we continue our series of firsts with this one, named after the female toji known for her work at Tomikunaga. This sake is brewed with Hachitanishiki and Yamadanishiki. The freshness is alive and well, and the melon aroma (typical of Yamada Nishiki) is faintly felt at first, but then the sharp dryness and acidity overflow into the pineapple aroma (So_1F34D) without the sweetness of Hachitan Nishiki and continue until the finish. It's very refreshing and easy to drink 😋.
