It is quite thick, and you can feel the thickening even when you put it in your mouth. What I thought was a little unusual about this sake was that it was a daiginjo with this thickening. I am inexperienced and this is the first time I have had this kind of sake. I like this kind of sake. It's good.

Get it at "Marugoto Kochi" in Ginza, Tokyo❗️. I had never heard of this brand before, but it was delicious ❣️. The rice used was something from Kochi Prefecture. It has a fresh citrusy taste like a fresh sake, with a rich mouthfeel, but it goes down smoothly. The aftertaste is clean and crisp. If I had to say something, I would say that I would like a little more sweetness, but it is just right for light drinking.

Second day of Kochi Night. The cab driver told me that Hirome is good, but for bonito, I should go to Matsuri Jaya. He advised me to go to Matsuri Jaya for bonito, as it has a good selection of alcohol. So we went to Matsuri Jaya. At first, we started out with regular sake, just like a normal drinking party in Kochi. The staff at the restaurant recommended various temperatures for drinking. The first sake is Fujimusume, which I have never tried before. Slightly spicy and umami-guchi (flavorful), it was a perfect match for the thickly sliced salt cod roe. The special sake cup is also cute! But from here, I sank into the swamp of Kochi sake.

Welcome party, the second. Many local people do not know what kind of local sake is available, so as the Sake-no-Wa-Uwa-Uwa-tai, we brought some to the company's drinking party to convey the charm of this sake. This one was brewed by Nakajima Sake Brewery, a 100 stone sake brewery in Okunoto, using Azuma Sake Brewery's facilities in Komatsu, which is in the midst of the excitement of the Shinkansen bullet train opening. Hearing that Kanazawa is in the midst of a tourist slump, the wife and I went to Kanazawa Oden, and I had mixed feelings about being able to easily get into a restaurant that usually has a long line. A few restaurants were closed temporarily. Kanazawa was hardly damaged by the earthquake, and I hope everyone will come to Kanazawa! Now, Senmaida, rice from Senmaida in Wajima is partially used. Although it is junmai, it is not that heavy and easy to drink. It is light and crisp. The wife also likes it. The waitress said there were only 3 bottles left and that she would not be able to drink them for a while! We hope it will come back.

I've always been curious about it because I often see it at Takashimaya, but this is my first time to drink it. The rice is Asahi rice and Yamadanishiki. It is fresh and has a strong sweet flavor, but the aroma and taste are a bit unique. I also feel a bit of hardness. I'll give it some more time and see how it goes. Apple and honey-like sweetness with a sense of thickening.

Shimane Local Sake Fair Osaka ③. Ichinomiya Sake Brewery of Iwami Ginzan and Rika. I had bought Yukika at Hanshin Department Store in Amagasaki in the past. I found out that it was Mr. Rika, the toji (master brewer), who was standing in the store at that time😅. I tasted the following Iwami Ginzan Special Junmai Hiyoshi Oroshi Rika Junmai Ginjo Kaihatanryu Ichitunya TANE Nama-zake Yukika Sparkling None of them left much of an impression on me, but I thought the Yukika was as tasty as ever. It was sweet and strong, like a strong calpis soda. I would like to try it again because Sugidama-san in Kyoto sells Iwami Ginzan.

I took home a sake that I remembered as being delicious when I received it at the restaurant. The label is a very unusual one. I heard that a woman is the master brewer of this sake brewery. It is a sake that goes well with meals! Is it umakuchi or umami? It is hard to describe, but the acidity at the end makes it refreshing. 1,650 yen (tax included)
