Timeline
boukenPurchased at an event at Keihan Department Store.
Koge2 had been drinking it before, and Nemuchi was very excited when she found it at the event.
Junmai Daiginjyo single-stage brewing, which sounds like a weird specs 😁.
Low alcohol 9% alcohol. Sweet and sour, fresh and rich. Tastes like eating a Ramune flavored popsicle or candy. I love this sweetness.
If I drink other liquors after this one, everything feels thinner...
It's a Tottori sake, but it's gut sweet! boukenPurchased after tasting it at an event at Keihan Department Store.
Slightly refreshing with a mild ginjo aroma. Good sharpness in the aftertaste. The second half is quite pungent.
And..., what I mentioned in my last post when I tasted it.
After buying this sake, I was searching for sake-no-wa and noticed that it used to be labeled with the manufacturer, but now it is labeled with the seller and the unique symbol for the place of manufacture.
There are multiple alphabets for the manufacturing site specific symbol, and a search of the Consumer Affairs Agency's database of manufacturing site specific symbols reveals the following
K Fushimi no Tomiyo (Kyoto)
C Naru-no-Sake (Nara)
H Sake is Kuromatsu XX (Hyogo)
T. A certain brewery in Gifu (where the toji from the southern part of Japan transferred to)
It turns out that at least four of these four places are producing sake.
In short, it seems that they do not brew their own sake.
By the way, the one we drank this time was C.
According to some sources, the brewery was damaged by a typhoon a few years ago and they can no longer brew.
In fact, when I checked the street view, I found that a part of the warehouse site was sold and an apartment building was built...
I just learned a sad fact 😢.
I thought it was weird because I haven't seen it lately.
It's sad because I used to enjoy drinking Shiboritate and Jundai's fragrant sweet sake. ルテルテミGood evening, bouken😄.
It is quintessential that you noticed the manufacturing place specific symbol. I checked the one waiting in the fridge and it was C. I wonder if the flavor has changed 🥹. boukenGood evening, Mr. Lutemi 😃.
I'm usually in the habit of looking at every corner 😅
It may not be the same taste, but it is consigned to various warehouses and they seem to be particular about it, so the taste may be maintained to some extent 🤔. しんじょうGood morning.
I used to drink a small bottle of this brewery's honjozo when I went to Wakayama, but the year before last, when I bought a 4-goupe bottle at Hankyu, it was a little different.
I don't know if the contents are different depending on the size, or if it has changed since it was consigned... boukenHello Shinjo 😃
The Honjozo was marked K, so it looks like it's made in Fushimi 🤔It would also depend on whether it's packed from the existing lineup of the consignment company or specially brewed 😃. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival
Last but not least, Kita-ya!
This was the only place where no one from the brewery was present, so it was handled by a mannequin!
I wonder if the brewer couldn't make it because he said he was called suddenly.
The mannequin was so pushy that I almost don't remember the contents of the drinks 🤣.
What we drank was
Junmai Daiginjo
I knew this was good because I've had it outside in the past.
This time, too, it was consistently delicious!
Junmai Ginjo Gin no Sato
Fruity and good value for money!
Special Junmai 60% Yume Issen
I think it was delicious.
Junmai sake
I don't know.
Leave as if you were running away💨
We were told by a liquor store in Korien that the brewer of skunk cabbage is here, do you want to go? but it's raining and we don't have an umbrella, and it's too far to go home if we drink any more, so we call it a night 🙄. ポンちゃんGood morning, bouken 🐥.
Thanks for posting for two events 💦 You drank quite a bit, not to mention the variety 😳 That's why the last goi goi goi was so hard 😂. boukenGood evening, Ponchan 😃.
I think it's a small amount for one cup but quite a lot 🙄.
I walked back and forth in front of the booth a few times on the way there, but it was full of goi goi goi feeling, so I slightly avoided it and put it off 🤣. boukenKeihan Department Store Japanese Sake Festival (15)
I have an image of Sekaiichi-Tsumari as a major brewery in Wakayama, but I guess they are not as well known in the south as Kido and Kurogyu...
I have not seen them at liquor stores recently, and there were many points of concern, such as the lonely lineup of only three kinds of sake this time.
I drank
Super-harsh Junmai Sake
It is indeed super-harsh at +15, but there is a hint of sweetness, so it's not really very spicy.
Junmai Ginjo
A little refreshing, but with a hint of sweetness and gorgeousness. It was quite good.
Kishu Gojumangoku Honjozo Dry
Quite classic, but gentler than super-spicy.
I bought a Junmai Ginjo that was nice.
I noticed something the other day when I was looking at a post from Minamikata at Sake-no-wa.
I'll get to that later... boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival ⑭
I don't mean to be rude, but Kikusui Sake Brewery has only the image of a funaguchi, and the sales staff were wearing aloha shirts with a funaguchi pattern!
I thought it was cute, but it seemed to be designed by a famous designer and the price was expensive. I heard it was already sold out😳.
We drank
Nama-nihon-shu, freshly squeezed from the bottle
It looks like this is the one bottled with funaguchi.
Kikusui Junmai Daiginjo
Kikusui is made from Kikusui sake rice. The father was Omachi, the son was Gohyakumangoku, and the grandson was Koshitanrei. It is said that the rice was not developed by the Kikusui Brewery, as it just happened to have the same name. I wonder if Kikusui is the one who revived it. Aromatic and slightly spicy.
Junmai Daiginjo-genshu
This class is delicious no matter what you drink. Fruity, like apples.
Kuramitsu
The rice polishing ratio is 23%. Clean, high-grade water.
Mukan no Tei Ginjo Nama-zume
Clear and a little floral. This is also often seen.
Ryoufu
A new product for summer. It uses malic acid yeast, so it's sweet and sour, but a little strong in alcohol. It was a candidate for purchase 🤔.
I'm glad I could drink a variety of non-funaguchi ones 😋. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival ⑬
Shirobotan, a sake with many of my personal favorite flavors.
I drank
Junmai Daiginjo with Reiwa No.1 yeast
As fruity and easy to drink as when we drank it before.
Junmai Daiginjo Yusei
Calm, fruity and refreshing. The label is of Itsukushima Shrine.
Junmai Ginjo Nakakumi
As before, gorgeous, clean, and fruity.
Hachitan Ginjo Nakakumi
It is said to be very dry, but perhaps because it is dry from a sweet brewery, it does not feel that dry and is easy to drink.
Hiroshima Hachitan Junmai Daiginjo Genshu
Gorgeous, but it's a summer sake, so it's refreshing.
Junmai Ginjo Koihana
Made with white malted rice. It was sweet and sour and delicious.
Junmai Ginjo
Slightly sweet, umami-guchi sake. The taste is good for a standard-class sake.
Daiginjo
Gorgeous and slightly spicy, but not at the +7 sake strength.
Junmai Daiginjo Genshu
Gorgeous, fruity, and sweet. Of course it's delicious!
Yamadanishiki Junmai Sake
Forgot to take a picture. I forgot I even drank it 🤣.
I keep saying something fruity 🤣.
We talked about the movie collaboration sake starring Rina Kawaei and the frozen sake. They told me where to find frozen sake but it was from a completely different brewery😅.
You can't find Shirobotan outside of department stores, but there are some liquor stores that can stock it through wholesalers. ひるぺこGood evening, bouken. I was going to go drink Shirobotan, but I couldn't make it after all 😭I didn't know there was a Hiroshima 2021 yeast 🤔 Was there a lot of fruity variations? I wish I could have compared drinks 😋. boukenHi Hirupeko, good evening 😃
I was wondering if you went to the White Peony since you said you wanted to go for a drink, too bad 😥.
I said fruity at random, but overall I liked the fact that all the drinks were gentle and not pungent 😊. boukenKeihan Department Store Japanese Sake Festival ⑫
Tochigi Ai at the Tasting (2)
Sawa Hime was personally positioned as the main dish of this event.
Mr. Touji was there!
We drank
Special Junmai Gohyakumangoku
Strong umami and a little fruitiness
Junmai Ginjo Hitogokochi
Refreshing aroma and gentle sweetness. This is the most well-balanced.
Junmai Tochigi Sake 14
I have had a draft sake before, and the impression of a strong and sweet sake is almost the same.
Yamahai Junmai Hitogokochi
It says "wild," but I couldn't really tell.
I think it's wilder than nama-hashiwado.
Yamahai is juicy and bursting with flavor.
Junmai Gold
It's sweet but has a strong sense of maturity. It is like Shaoxing sake.
It seems to go well with Japanese sweets. It tastes like a typical matured sake, so the level of perversity is probably low.
When I told him how hard it was to open the nigori I drank at New Year's, he asked me if I bought it at Ikoma-san. I was asked if I bought it at Ikoma-san.
Maybe they don't wholesale to other liquor stores in Kansai?
Other liquor stores said they only get orders from time to time.
I am looking forward to the new shipment of the Jun, Jungin, and Yamahai versions of Nama-Harakai sake from Icoma. boukenKeihan Department Store Japanese Sake Festival (11)
Kaygetsu, the sake brewer who drank Yamahai at Hanshin. A sales person who is often seen at department stores was there.
I drank the following
Sake Nature2022 Junmai Daiginjo
I always thought it was a black mysterious Kaygetsu. He said it is a sake made from organically fertilized rice.
It has a sweet aroma and a sweet taste. It is a deep sake with a three-dimensional taste or depth.
Gin-no-mu Junmai Daiginjo 45
Fruity, refreshing and slightly dry.
Gin-no-Mu Junmai-Ginjo Summer Nama-Shu
It seems sweet, but perhaps because it is a summer sake, it is very refreshing.
I think I mentioned the Hanshin Kochi event here. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival 10
The brewery was relocated from Wakasa Fuji to Obama Sake Brewery due to a business succession.
The brewery was also relocated. At that time, they chose the most difficult option of obtaining a new sake brewing license.
Mr. Nemuchi asked the brewer about the background of this process.
Please refer to the article on SAKE TIMES if you are interested in the story.
We drank
Wakasa Junmai Ginjo
Fruity and slightly sweet. When I drank it at home, I didn't like it, but I don't mind it if it's just a tasting.
Hyakudenfu
Not sweet, but refreshing and easy to drink.
Takearashi Shiboritate Nama Sake
I don't like it because of its strong pungency. I don't like the strong spiciness of this type.
The expensive ones such as Onmyoji sake and Daiginjo were not available for tasting...
I enjoyed the talk more than the tasting. まつちよGood evening bouken🍶.
I read the article on SAKETIMES and I see that you can get a new sake brewing license for sake!
But why is the hurdle so high only for sake 🤔?
I wish there was no limit of 60,000 liters. まつちよI noticed you were over 3200 😅.
Great pace as always 😆. boukenGood evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo 😃.
I believe Shikishima and Edo Kaijo were also newly acquired 🤔.
I always think it's unfair that the hurdle is higher than other alcoholic beverages 😥. boukenNo, no, I think it's great that Matsutiyo-san's check-in calendar is almost full💦. まつちよHeh, I didn't know that 🤔
I just try to post every day as much as possible because it gets tedious when the unposts start to pile up 😅. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival (9)
Popular Ichi is a sake that you can find at Yodobashi and ●Maya, but rarely drink. The president of Okunomatsu and Popular Ichi are said to be brothers.
I have the impression that they produce a lot of sake in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions and Godzilla.
I drank
Junmai Ginjo Natsusei
They said it was unfiltered. It was sweet and rather fruity.
I liked it a lot, but the second half was a little messy.
Modern Classic Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama
I had been looking forward to this one, but it was gorgeous but not quite what I expected.
Sparkling Red
Sake made with ancient rice. Sake level -70😳
A little koji-like, but sweet and sour.
Wooden Oke Brewing Ginjo
I wondered if only this sake was made in wooden vats, but it seems all the vats are made in wooden vats 😳Fruity dry taste
Kuropopularity Junmai Ginjo
This one also has a fruity dry taste.
I think the freshly squeezed one sold at Yodobashi a few years ago was better than the one I had this time 🤔. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival 8
The Takasago Sake Brewery from Hokkaido rarely comes to Kansai.
They almost never come to events.
The salesman's way of speaking was somewhat like Yoohee's, which made me feel familiar with him 😁.
We drank
Snow-stored Junmai-shu
Made with Comet. It was refreshing and a little spicy.
Junmai Ginjo
It is made with Kitashizuku. I have seen it at Maya.
It is refreshing and gorgeous, but has a nutty taste.
Junmai Daiginjo Hokkaido Limited
This is also a refreshing type.
Junmai Daiginjo Ungaisoten
This sake is limited to the brewery. Gorgeous and elegant sake.
Hokkaido Limited Junmai Nama Nama Sake
I read the description and it seems to be an unfiltered raw sake.
I think it has a nutty taste too 🤔.
Junmai Ginjyo Nama-genshu
When I talked about Ezo-no-Kuma, which is a limited edition, he said this was a similar type of sake. I think it was the best one I had at this booth, but it was nutty 🥜.
Junmai Daiginjyo Hyoketsu Storage Asahi Kamui
This one is made with Yamadanishiki. It's like a high-class clean water.
It's got to be good 🤣.
Junmai Daiginjo Nijuhachi
Sake with 28% polished rice 😳.
This is the most delicious one. I thought it was Yamada, but I thought it was great and rare to use local rice in this class.
Overall it felt nutty 🤔. boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival (7)
There was a summer sake from Tsunekigen, which I had a good impression of after drinking it in the past, so I tried it.
Well, maybe it was the order in which I drank them?
I had an image of a refreshing yet sweet sake, but it didn't leave the same impression as the past...
I felt that I was in trouble because they kept pouring more and more drinks in this booth, and I asked Nemuchi if it was okay to drink more. I asked Mr. Nemuchi if I could finish my drink and he said yes, so I decided to move on to the next booth 😁. ポンちゃんHello bouken🐦!
I'm very happy that you recommend tasting, but I'm in a hurry when you pour before I can choose 😂I'm sorry, I'm running away 💦. boukenGood evening, Ponchan 😃.
I'm not finished with my drink and I'm standing by for the next one, so the pace is fast 💦😅.
I appreciate your generosity in letting me sample the drinks 🤔... boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival (6)
Hokuriku Sake Booth
Takazawa Sake Brewery, one of the hardest hit breweries in Toyama
Sake made with white malted rice.
I think it is very dry among the sake made with white malted rice.
Citrus aroma and acidity. It was like a dry white wine. Almost no sweetness, so it is not my favorite type.
Loose 🐱label and taste gap 😹.
I liked AKEBONO FLAT from the same brewery, which is sweet and sour. boukenKeihan Department Store Japanese Sake Festival (5)
Among the Hokuriku sake, there is a sake that looks like something I've seen somewhere...
It was Hatashou-san who came to Ogimachi Park.
The distributor was also there and remembered Nemuchi-san 😁.
There was Ver.1 that I didn't bring last time, so I tried to drink it.
Although it has a matured taste, it is sweeter than Ver.2 and Ver.3, and I think I like this one the best! boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival ④
I think he said this is the sake in Friday Moon.
I've had Kaga no Tsuki a few times and was very impressed with it, but this one was fruity and tasty too! boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival (3)
Collaboration sake from Matsunami Sake Brewery and Kakoshi Sake, both of which were completely destroyed by the Noto Earthquake.
Although only the company name of Mr. Kakoshi is written on the back, it is said to be a blend of sake from both breweries.
It was beautiful and elegant, but also had a complex flavor due to the fact that it was a blended sake.
It seems that one of Nemuchi-san's acquaintances was helping out at the Hokuriku booth on a weekday! boukenKeihan Department Store Sake Festival (2)
To the Hokuriku Sake Booth
First, let's start with San Shoraku.
It is said to be designed with a lighter touch than regular junmai sake. The rice is Yamadanishiki and the yeast is No. 9.
Unlike the image of the name, it is easy to drink. I guess it's the type of sake that goes well with food.
I need to go to a liquor store in Tenri and buy some 🤔. boukenKeihan Department Store Japanese Sake Festival ①.
Is this the first sake event held at Keihan Department Store?
We went to the Moriguchi branch of Keihan Department Store in front of Moriguchi Station.
It's in the suburbs, but with annual sales of over 40 billion yen, it's doing very well in the department store's winter season.
Before going to the venue, I visited the sake department in the basement, but it seemed to be smaller than before... I went to the basement liquor department before going to the venue, but it seemed to have shrunk... I wonder if this is due to the fact that the Kuzuha Mall store has become a large liquor department.
First, we went to Inata Hime's Inada main store.
I drank
Junmai Nama-no-Genshu (pure sake)
I drank it expecting it to be sweet, but it was not so much.... I think they said they used white malted rice.
I wasn't really attracted to it.
Junmai Ginjyo Strong Nama Nama
Fruity, sweet, and tasty, just like the past.
It has a unique taste like a little bit of a habit, but I liked it the best among the ones I drank at this booth.
Honjozo Nama-genshu
Quite a heavy taste. It is spicy and a bit classic.
Iku's Shiro Junmai Daiginjo
Nemuchi-san was looking for this one! The one-stage preparation is rare. It was sweet and sour and delicious. I bought this one 😁.
Junmai Daiginjo Strong
Beautiful and fruity but refreshing!
Inadahime Junmai Daiginjo Harazake
It's delicious because it's a pure sake and expensive. Elegant ginjo aroma RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
