Purchased by mail order. It comes in a white bottle.
It has a low alcohol content of 12.5 degrees Celsius, which may be due to the fact that it is a pure sake, but it is a little light.
The warning printed on the label reads, "Easy to drink, so be careful not to drink too much! As the warning printed on the label says, the sake was easy to drink, and I drank more than usual.
This sake is made by Tenryohai Sake Brewery, which is famous for Gagakuyo on Sado Island. I tried it because it is quite a rarity. For some reason, I have recently had a connection with Sado Island sake.
It is more robust than fruity. It has the flavor of rice, but with a slightly apple-like fruity quality. It has a somewhat classic impression and seems to go well with meals. This flavor may fit the concept of an izakaya's sake that goes well with meals.
It seems to go well with simmered dishes, fried dishes, and soy sauce-like dishes.
It is my first time to drink Nama-shu ver.
This may be my first time to taste a gassy kijoshu.
It has acidity, but it is not balanced by sweetness, and the sweetness is always dominant.
The sweetness is not sticky, so it is easy to drink.
I bought this when it was recommended to me when I visited Niigata.
When I tasted it, I could feel the gas and thought it was delicious! But I was disappointed that I didn't find it as interesting as I had expected, perhaps because I had become accustomed to other sakes 😢.
Fresh aroma like green apple.
The punchy freshness of the raw sake. But it is smooth. The final touch of bitterness is a nice touch of quality!
It went very well with the spicy nabe.
I am so glad that Tenryo Sake is available in Tokyo.

Although the aroma does not give the impression of outstanding sweetness, from the moment you take a sip, your mouth is filled with sweetness.
It was recommended to me by a liquor store because it is a kijoshu made from old sake, but I was a little wary of it because I am not a fan of the aroma and taste of old sake and aged sake!
It has a rich honey-like sweetness that is typical of kijoshu, but at the end of drinking it tastes bitter like the caramel sauce in pudding and finishes off nicely.
I highly recommend this sake for those with a sweet tooth!
